it's been 7 years since guruji iyengar passed away. it’s also about 7 years that i started yoga. his practice teached me a lot about my body and balance - i am grateful that i found the time, energy (and money) for it at a young age. ...... at this moment the editors of the yoga sangraha are busy collecting texts and images for the new magazine that i will be designing for the 4th time! it's start to be a nice series. ...... yoga inspires me! last year, about this time, my yoga teacher reminded me that she liked my yoga drawings, and so the idea of ​​the calendar was born. the calendar came to be a much bigger project than i planned to do, but i'm still happy and thankful for that today! since then i learned the names! .... and a last thing: for those who think yoga is for hipies and dreamers! let's meet iyengar! our queen paola also knew it was a good but hard and intense work! at 85 she invited him to the palace, asking him to accompany her for a sirsasana (headstand)! it's a very nice story.
