"You married the wrong woman." she muttered quietly.

Ray frowned, adjusting his glasses while staring at his wife across the kitchen who wiped away another tear. He didn't understand how she could think this way, especially after everything they'd been through--what did she see that he was missing? It puzzled him.

"I don't think I did," Ray said.

Astrid scuffed, smoothing her hair back while breaking eye contact with Ray.

"I don't," Ray said again, "I married the right one this time. I love you, Astrid, I'll always love you. Anxiety attacks and burnt cookies, forever." he said.

She frowned, "I'm not made for this, Ray, I'm not tough like you are, or Mickey...or Ros!"

"I don't expect you to!" Ray said, approaching his wife while stroking her long, brunette locks, "I didn't marry you because I thought you could be tough, and put up with my shit. I married you in spite of it, Astrid. I love you, and I married you because despite all the bull shit that goes on outside of this house...when I come home to you, I feel safe. You make me feel safe. You make me feel like the world isn't going to end tomorrow." he said.

Astrid looked down at her feet, picking at her nails before frowning again.

"We're going to get through this, Star." Ray said, "I promise."

Astrid nodded, "Even if I catch the oven on fire?"

The corner of Ray's lips raised, "Even if you catch the oven on fire."

Mobstrid and Astrid have two very different, distinct styles.

I see Mobstrid having a lot of sleek jumpsuits, dark colors (Purples, Greens, and Blues mostly...and Black!) with strong statement pieces of jewelry. Something like this screams Mobstrid...

Very edgy. Very sexy. Very attention-grabbing.

Sweet, sweet Astrid on the other hand...lots of clunk sweaters and jeans. Pastels. Comfy shoes. Not big on jewelry except for her engagement ring and wedding band. Also, flowy, pretty dresses with tulle skirts that accentuates the curves of her body (gets Ray every time!). She's a working mom, so she can't be wearing something flashy to the PTA meetings, you know?

Astrid also, absolutely definitely has a Mustard Brown cardigan that she wears to match with Ray's.

But, when Astrid does have to go to events that Mickey is hosting, she will absolutely go full Disney Princess. Every girl likes glitter...

While Jackie Kennedy is someone I look up for reasons INCLUDING her fashion! I try to separate what I like in the way of fashion to what Astrid/Mobstrid likes. But would all three of us wear that Pink Chanel suit if we had the chance? Abso-fucking-lutely!
