Current list of Astral Weapons
Interestingly enough I’ve been using astral weapons for years, but they were always semi intangible for me and often only the idea of a weapon, despite my best efforts to borrow or make one of my own. Since I started doing this more seriously and mindfully, I began getting specific weapons. So far I have:
A glaive: It’s shifted a bit over the years, but this is my weapon. The easiest one to use and the most reliable. It’s blade is made of obsidian shaped into a jagged j shape. The staff is made of marble and onyx and sometimes it’s wrapped in leather or organza. The organza tends to be when it’s in a more formal or ceremonial capacity.
A bow: This one was a gift from a goddess and is by far my most finicky weapon. It’s a recurve made from deer antlers. It’s rather prickly looking and it’s hard to draw. The arrows are made from fear and adrenaline, so there has to be a certain level of seriousness before it’s even usable. It generally hangs above my fireplace in my mindspace.
Stone Shortsword- this is my newest weapon. I’m not entirely sure if I reforged it consciously or if my just picking it up reactivated it. The blade about the length from my elbow to the tip of my fingers and it’s made from an odd stone that almost looks like sandstone. When I think of it, I can feel it resting in a hilt on my left hip. Interestingly enough when I draw it, it can ‘reflect’ an identical blade in my other hand. They both seem to work similarly enough for me not to notice a difference between them.
