Have I ever brought my Tav/Durge in a D&D game?
I have played Mas in a couple one shots now (though I'm only counting one as canon for him). Had a blast playing him with my friends!
Axiom and Altic were both made specifically for BG3, so I haven't played them in D&D yet.
And in the reverse direction, I made my old Curse of Strahd character, Alsius, in CC because I was bored and then I just kept going with it. Here she is!

Does Your Durge + Tav Like Spicy Foods/How Well Do They Tolerate Spice?
Promise's childhood enclave was conservative with spice. Their area of the Underdark had decent access to fire lichen, but it was a delicacy, and novices like Dark Daughter only got to eat it on certain holidays.
The first time Dark Daughter tasted it, though, she was a catastrophe. Tears down her face, loud coughing, red cheeks, etc. A whole scene. In the future, she did her best to eat what was given and be 'grateful'... but she didn't stand a chance. She got in trouble for things like "breaking silence" and "disrupting services," but really, her peers found it funny and her superiors found it endearing. Daughter got off light with her punishments, and the superiors let the novices get away with trading dishes according to their tastes.
Once she left the Underdark, Promise saw no purpose in exposing herself to spice again. It no longer seemed like a meaningful test of willpower... and she did not want to risk embarrassing herself by crying over hot food.
Aven enjoys spice. He's built up his tolerance for the sake of playful competition, but also because he's genuinely interested in pushing his limits and discovering new things. I can picture him and Jaheira eating infamously spicy dishes together---and absolutely milking the reactions of their less spice-tolerant companions.
PS I have a vision of the Gur children pranking Aven once the Spawn are set up in the Underdark, spicing up his food to an absurd degree and giggling from some hiding spot as he gradually loses his composure.
