finally needed my inhaler last night. by finally, I just mean I literally have not needed it since I got it prescribed, which is a good thing. but its been a couple weeks so I was starting to gaslight myself that it wouldn't happen.
but it did. started as a throat tickle, and then the coughing.
it was harder to push down than I expected, I did need both hands because arthritis, also panicking a little... and i had to do it twice, it may have needed primed more because again. havent used it at all yet. but HOLY SHIT. 😳
I fucking knew i needed one and it was close to instantaneous relief 😮💨 it used to take 24 hours to get my breathing back to normal - whole ordeal last night was like 30 minutes and I could lay down and sleep.
now i just wish I knew what triggers this shit. I assume its asthma? I don't have a real diagnosis, I just went to urgent care. but I got the inhaler, I knew its what I needed. so. at least we know it works.
