“ look, the new me is really still the real me! “ kendra laughs a bit- she knows that she looks different. her signature hair buns were gone, she didn’t often wear her hair down and very rarely did anybody see her out of either her work closed or an oversized shirt and shorts. but today, she had chosen to go all out with her looks, and she had most definitely gotten the results she had wanted. “ i know you’re probably shocked, but...do you like it? “

His steps came to a halt when he spotted a person. They’re a little... redder than most of the humans he had met in this world and as they generously shared the red liquid with the world surrounding it, they seemed to be getting increasingly worse. Humans truly were weak if giving away a little bit of themselves could make them so weak. He approached the person, nudged their shoulder with his head and offered one of the many official greetings among the Otherworld’s citizens: “It’s a good day to die.”

     “it’s just a migraine.” strained smile curls corners of lips and hand lifts to wave concerned words off ; the throb in his temples started in the middle of his shift and worsened when he was cussed out by an impatient customer, and it’s been present since. “but what was it you’re saying ? that you got a... promotion ??” he hasn’t been paying attention.

chaewon wrapped her arms around the other and gave them a good squeeze before pulling away with a bright smile spread over her lips. "i've literally not seen you for years! how have you been? is everything good? anything new? i bet you got more stories to tell me.” she exclaimed in excitement as she looked at the other. 

            “FRESH AIR !!” the intern cheers as she steps out from the double doors, “i forget what it’s like to smell air that isn’t STERILE,” she sighs, being over dramatic about the situation. stretching her arms above her head as she trudged slowly, “hey, wanna get something to eat ??”
