Boreas was the son of Astraeus and Eos. Known as the north wind, he is best known for blowing an Athenian princess named Oreithyia into the sky. He found her so beautiful that asked her father for her hand in marriage, but he was rejected - he did so multiple times to no avail. She danced on the banks of a river which caused him to snap - he blew down into the earth to create an up draft that carried her to him. Together the two had four children. He is also known for his bad and quick temper as he has the tendency to blow cold air to make the animals disappear (brings winter) and to wreck ships at sea. IN MY OPINION Boreas in your chart can represent a) where you actively pursue something you want until eventually you take it, b) where you might face a lot of rejections, c) how quickly you are to temper, and/or d) whether you enjoy the cold.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of boreas along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of boreas AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede boreas!
