Not a ton of news today, which is unfortunate because today is my one day off. But we did find out somethings, such as there will be a PSN Update this Thursday and it will last 3 and a half hours and will start at 12am PST. These will be merely maintenance though rather than any actual changes.

Next, we have something that reminds me that I own a game I haven't played in a while, that game is far cry 4. The Overrun DLC is now available and it introduces a dune buggy as well as other modes and maps. Introduced is a PvP mode. The PvP will be a team capture the flag type of game and is 2 rounds of battles. There will be 4 game play maps for the Overrun battle format.

Finally, theres a sequel to Asteroids. You know, that game that you fly around and shoot asteroids atari released a loooong time ago (1979)? Yeah, it's getting a sequel, and it's nothing like the first game. How could you make this work? Make it into a survival game. Atari announce Asteroids Outpost today and it looks awesome. Set in the distant future, this MMO Survival pits you in a deep space environment where you will try to survive working with or against other players. There will also be a pvp mode.
