3 for godhand, 10 for each of starheartās pov characters :) and 29 for anybody you want!
3) favorite ship in a WIP and if itās canon or not/what itās like:
for godhand specifically I think I like Dejaun and Buck because itās the book with their meet cute and they insta-hate each other. Like, straight up vitriol- delicious to write lmao.
Buck has a doctorate in being an asshole and Dejaun is sweet but so stubborn that once heās decided he doesnāt like you heās going to make it his whole personality (he dislikes maybe 4 maximum, Buck is 3 of those people). And from the literal second they meet they do thing after thing to hurt the other.
But they just fucking orbit with an unrelenting energy like two black holes and their scenes feel like āhurry up and kill each other or kiss each other but you canāt do bothā
Especially because I know how things are going to grow and change and getā¦interesting :3
10) what would they change about themselves if they had the chance?
GOD ok uh
Meison: almost everything lol
Luna: the way people react to her when sheās mean
Andy: how heās allowed certain people to treat him
Dejaun: how he acts when heās afraid
Max: the life choices heās made that have effected others
29) a snippet from a character:
This is from Sijaris POV and she can see all of time so this is her inspecting the resident asshole (Buck)
She peered into Buck, past, present, and future as far as the image was clear. The totality of him, fuzzy with potential. The static was soft, and she anchored herself with the pain of the headphone plug dug into her hand.
Sijari watched a hazy memory of Buck as a child, maybe five years old, small and dirty. He was naked, holding the spoils of the nearby dumpster in his young, skinny fist. The pear was mostly rotted, but he tore it apart and ate what was still fruit. The juice dripped down his chin and he stared out of the alley at the people on the street with wide, feral eyes. Folks in his neighborhood knew better than to try and talk to him- it.
Behind him was a mismatched pack of street dogs, eating the turned over trash with him and staring the same way into the street. Buck was guarded, one of the mutts.
