Greetings, all in association of Hope's Peak!

CHAPTER 1 - AREA 1

MEDBAY - LOCKED.

STORAGE ROOM - LOCKED.

STAGE - Fairly large in size, the stage looks similar to what you'd normally find at an outdoor concert, except that it doesn't have any of the extras. Right in the centre of it is a podium, a currently locked gate propped up around it. The enclosure has enough room to stand comfortably behind the podium inside, and the gate is high enough to look like a cage. 

The backend of the stage has a large display screen, and there are also a couple cameras positioned on each pole; one facing the 'audience' area, and another facing the stage. And just off to the side of the stage, there are two empty puzzle boards. A quick glance shows that it would fit six palm-sized jigsaw pieces.

CANTEEN - This is where you’ll be getting your food. It has primarily non-perishable foods in the cupboards; various cans, rice, pasta, beans, etc. Luckily, the freezer also has more nutrient rich things, like fruit and vegetables! There’s even some meat in the freezer, alongside standard frozen treats like ice-cream. 

In terms of appliances, the canteen also has microwaves, a stovetop, an oven, and numerous cooking utensils.

CABINS - Your sleeping quarters for the indeterminable future! The building has two floors, with 9 rooms on the bottom, 8 on the top. The final room on the top floor is a broom closet. Each room has an electronic label on the door, with the codenames you’ve settled on listed on them.

You're awoken in the early dawn by the piercing cry of the Siren Head, it's short, sharp peaks mimicking the sound of a fire alarm.

This goes on for far longer than you'd like it to, almost reminding you of the last motive you'd had to suffer- and speaking of motives, you feel...dangerously normal, today.

Before you can follow that train of thought to its logical conclusion, the siren cuts off abruptly, soon replaced by a crackling, low quality microphone.

"Pollution is strictly prohibited at Morningland," Mackey's dull voice rings out, muffled and toneless as always.

"Therefore, I kindly ask that our dear guests assist in removing the detritus from Ben's Lake. As soon as possible, preferably. Thank you."

The audio clicks off and the hideous wailing of the siren continues. The lake...no, it couldn't be- it couldn't be all the things you sacrificed to the lake the other night, could it?

The lake is imposing, but since your 'heart to heart' with it the other night, it does seem to be just a little bit lighter, its depths not quite as impenetrable and its surface radiating neither a miserable heat nor a freezing cold.

At first, you almost can't see it. The human shaped shadow in the water could be any number of things. It could be a trick of the eyes or the lighting. It could be so many things, and yet, deep in your gut, you know what it is.

It's hard to make out, under the surface of the water, but the shape begins to solidify as you get closer to the water's edge. It seems someone has made one last sacrifice to the lake.

It seems a terrible fate has befallen Noel Levine.

His shape is still blurred by water, but that blonde hair and blue blazer is unmistakable.

CHAPTER 3 - AREA 3

Lavender Town - A very quaint, very purple little suburb smack dab in the middle of Morningland. Rows of identical houses line the street, mostly empty except for a few familiar faces....

Grave Tower - Tall and imposing, the Grave Tower stands resolute, its cold grey stone walls carrying floor upon floor of tombstones within. Some of them are people you knew, some of them are people you've never met, and some of them are curiously blank, waiting to be filled.

Radio Station - A rickety old radio tower looming over the landscape. Climbing it is not advisable, as you would likely die, but thankfully for you there is an equally rickety set of wooden stairs leading up to a small observation tower. Observation for what? Who knows. It's possible to tune in to some frequencies up on the observation deck, but none of them seem very coherent...Ah, well. At least there's the view.

"...another customer?"

"Well, I guess to fill up the silence, I'll tell ya a story."

Inspired by the death game genre, Aster Suite is a discord-based roleplay revolving around Death Games. Killing games, majority games, deadly escape games, you name it.

A scenario which revolves around a small group of people, total strangers to one another, who find themselves in an unfamiliar place. Kidnapped and held captive, they’re told that they must participate in a series of deadly obstacles that will guarantee somebody’s escape if they get away with it.

In our roleplays, we let the mastermind determine the setting, theme, and general plot points of the game.

We're more fast paced with our games, with each chapter averaging being 1-2 weeks long.

This season will be multifandom muses only, so characters from any established media.
