At first he didn't notice the Android's LED, a bit too distracted just trying to navigate the crowd. He wasn't much for crowds himself, but usually he could deal with it...but this was a bit much, even for him. He finally glanced around, the red flashing light catching his attention...he seemed to recall Connor telling him once that crowds bothered him.

The Captain simply watches for a while from his desk, an eye brow raised slightly. He's not sure if this was some....weird android quirk, or if there was a reason for it...or maybe this android just enjoyed playing around with the knife. The ladder option seemed like something a deviant would do, at least from his knowledge of deviant androids anymore. Not that he suspected or even cared if 60 was a deviant or not, long as he did his job.

"There any particular reason you're playing around with that knife, Connor?" He finally asked, his curiosity getting the better of him in that moment.

He was never much for going out to drink, hell he seen what it did to Hank...not that he was against having a few drinks sometimes or anything like that. But, the unit had voted on going out for a few drinks, as was typical for a Friday night....just a way for the team to celebrate getting through another week without issue. Personally he would have preferred they all go see a movie, but he's not one to deny his team.

He glanced up when a random woman, obviously a little too intoxicated...came up to talk to him. It was obvious to him that she was flirting with him, even touching his arm. The captain had no interest in a random hook up....especially when she was so sloshed. He glanced around at his team, ignoring the woman who kept going on and on about god knows what. Eventually his eyes landed on the android, who looked down, but he noticed the color of his LED. He gently turned the drunk woman down, and excused himself, opting for checking in on Connor.

Odd, he hadn't seen the android most of the day. Sure they both happened to be off today, and Connor can spend it as he pleased...but he had gotten used to the 800 sitting out in the living room with him, usually as both of them read or checked the news. He gave a gentle knock on his door before opening it. First thing he noticed was how dark it was in here, the second was that red LED...usually indicating something was wrong.

It wasn't like the captain had even snuck up on him or anything. It was the hand on his shoulder that set him off. His faulty chip had misfired, registering a threat. But it wasn't. It was just David trying to get his attention. However he grabbed the other's arm, quickly twisting it behind his back, trying to subdue the human. Another misfire sent a jolt of pain through his head. 60 gasped as he immediately let go of Allen, his hands suddenly gripping the sides of his head. Pain wracked him. Normally he wouldn't feel pain at all, but the chip made it so he could. When the captain came closer he tried to shove him away. He couldn't get it under control, ready to lash out again at anyone who got close.

He had been trying to get the androids attention for several minutes now, he needed to know if he had filed his recent reports or not. He knew Connor had some...issues, with his faulty chip, but he didn't bring it up that often unless it interfered with his ability to do his job. Hand on his shoulder, that quickly lead to him having that arm yanked behind his back harshly.

Connor's brow furrowed, confused by the accusation. "I'm not having a stroke, Adler."

"Then do you wanna try that again?" Howl asked.

"Just forget it," 60 said, going back to his desk.

He was finishing up a report when he halfway caught the conversation, an eyebrow raised at the jumbled mess that came out of the android.

"Well, whatever. Still sounded like a stroke to me" Howl muttered as he walked back to his own post.
