    “Bishamonten-sama! Look at all these things!”

    Today she was kind to escort some of her younger recruits to the amusement park. As willing as she was in wanting to treat them for the longest time now, with so much happening around her she was mindful of the perks that could have happened at any moment. She decided to overlook today, however, hoping nothing would go wrong while they were out. Keeping them in her sight as they wandered for a bit, one happened to come across an older that was crouched in a corner. Jestingly, they tapped to get his attention. Seeing all of this unfold right before her eyes, she quickly rushed over to pull them back, uncertain of who or what this person could have been and what they were capable of.

     “Are you sure you want to travel with me? It could get a little      dangerous.”

Being joined up by another person wasn’t something she didn’t like, but someone of her rank would probably draw some attention. It was clear to her that they were now recognizing that the outsiders of the city had different ranks; they viewed them as troublesome no matter but, but now they were trying to weed out the strongest. 

   If one wanted to describe the Cetra in one word, perhaps curious would be at the forefront of their mind. Although she had been in this city for about two years now, there was still much she hadn’t explored. Maybe there was no need to, as most explored to find a way out and by now she knew such attempts were always futile. Still, some hope remained that one day a crack in this flawed design would surface, and perhaps all it needed was one person to find that crack. However, she desired exploration for another reason. What she had only begun to taste in life before it had been so cruelly snatched away, could be continued here. To see places she had only dreamed about, and she’d set her sights upon Sia. Something about the snowy mountain felt familiar; homelike although she couldn’t really explain why. 

    A majority of the people Madoka had encountered nowadays were much taller and older than she was. They’d like to argue that they were also wiser, but she wasn’t going to argue against that—Wisdom is a variable concept, after all. She might know every little math equation, but she was familiar with the nightmares that resided in her own world. Of course, she never brought that up much as it was irrelevant here.

      Beneath the comfortable shade of sector o5′s marketplace a boy looking about twelve inadvertently reminds him of three kids about his age-- troublesome ones that’d been determined to cause fatal problems for every adult in the city. And yet, for all their persistence and meddling into his life, they’d all seemed to vanish without a trace some few weeks ago. It may not have been too bizarre a happening in this city with its fickle scientists (and, really, he should have been thankful) but there was something suspicious-- unnatural-- about them all leaving about the same time.

      The chances they’re around are small, but for someone with luck like his, that’s precisely why he has to make certain.

 《۞》⁓ Shrouded in a veil of seemingly ubiquitous hordes of blackbirds, lanky build drapes loosely in a levitated state above ground. Irritable groan surfaces beneath cold breath, fixating frigid stares at a recognizable silhouette. Slumping onto a nearby bench, audible crunch as the mage bit into a peach.

“ Oi, squirt. ”

Of course, his commentary was more so standard fare from the trollish tyrant. However, there was a score to settle between the two. An obvious rivalry that seemed to consistently escalate over time, Judar was sure that his presence may have made the other anxious in one way or another. Though he wouldn’t dare opt to attack Aladdin as he was currently, just knowing that he existed in the same realm gave Judar an incentive to stay diligent to his craft. Taking yet another bite, the black magi idly questioned.
