i went to a No Kings protest for a bit today
first protest ive ever been to i prepped for the heat (texas) as best i could but had to tap out and find my way home after using the restroom at the library. it turned into a march right after i left and i had to mentally reroute how i was gonna catch public transit since the streets were starting to be blockaded for the march. figured it out tho and barely had to wait for train or bus :)
it was nice to listen to the speakers and the crowd response to their statements and participate in cheering and booing and hollering "you're not alone!" in response to a chronically ill speaker talking about how this unsustainable system is crumbling and failing more and more people
i met an elder lesbian couple that only lives a few streets from me and grouped up with them. might take some no-bake cookies to them tomorrow

Happy 1 whole year to me being jobless HAHHAGSHA what a way to start the post
Aside that, I’m proud at myself with what I’ve done in 2024. People who had expectations of me obviously weren’t but I wanted to do everything and I can only do so much with how messed up I still am ( ；∀；)
I know no one will ever be proud of me except myself and my f/os so I’m listing off the things that I’m proud of doing in 2024!
1. Made my very first ever nui in March!!! So excited to do something new and out of my comfort zone for once! I enjoyed it so much. The result wasn’t I expected but I’m so proud of myself to be able to finish it!! 💫
2. Had so much fun oshikatsu with besties in April ^_^ celebrated Yuuya’s birthday and fuck it we ball at JJK cafe LMAOOO none of us liked the series. We only like the songs made for it 😭
3. Stayed long enough to see my beautiful husband’s smile again 💝 (went to the hashira training premiere in March and the TV series in May!)
4. Went to see my long time favorite utaite Eve in May!!! I feel like a proud parent to see him live 😭😭🫶
5. Went on morning walks in July. It didn’t last long but the fact that I did it for like a month was something! hahaha
6. Went to see my favourite metal bands ever (BMTH & Babymetal) in Augustttt!! 🤘🖤 baby’s first mosh pit experience! I got thrown around and fell over lmaooo no injuries whatsoever though, so that’s a relief!
7. Celebrated Tengen’s birthday in October ^w^ his birthday art was soooo prettyyyy AAAAAA 💗💗💗 this makes it my second year celebrating his special day! I’m so happy to have oshi you 🫶 Also drew a lot more for his birthday countdown this year! :D I’m so proud of myself for that!! I also was able to join a web event!!! It’s an Uzui family only web event! For this I also made my very first cursor!!!!! (Yes it’s Tengen themed hehe)
8. Went to see Fujii Kaze in November! Literally on my birthday!!! Had so much fun singing and dancing to his songs. Also got to listen to Matsuri live. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted 🥹🫶 Immediately after that, caught my flight to Japan 😭 it was crazyyy lmaooo I was happy that I got to see, visit and do a lot of stuff and places!!! Highlight of the trip for me is definitely going to USJ, visit the Hashira Exhibition, and celebrated Tengen’s birthday at ufotable cafe ^w^ This should have its own post ww
9. Closing the year with my graduation in early December!!!!! I have a degree in Japanese Language and Linguistics now but I still can’t fluently converse in it LMAOOOO so all of those 3 years gone to waste? 🥴 I’m not sure if this is even worth mentioning because it’s really rocky atm but I recently got a partner. Sounds silly but I went full throttle with selfshipping and oshikatsu in 2024 so I already gave up wasn’t really looking for any real people due to my insecurities HAHAHAHA would be nice if it works out but if it doesn’t, it’s not like it’s the end of the world hehe the world still keeps spinning even when I’m dead ^_^
10. Other than those, I’m so happy to able to support my favourite doujin artists/cosplayer!!!!! 🫶💗💖💝 wasn’t able to go to any doujin event during my trip like last year but I was still able to get it online and that’s alright! ( ；∀；)👍
Anyway, 2025. I want to spend more for Tengen because I don’t think it’s going out anytime soon (hopefully not ever!) so I’m hoping to get a job with good pay 😷 I’m… struggling a lot with it but I’m gonna make it work 😵💫 I also want to get back to making merchs and boothing at events ;_;🙏
That’s all I can say for 2025! I wish everyone a healthy, successful and prosperous year ahead ^w^🫶
