ngl I think this episode just kind of summed up ALL the problems with season 3 and to a lesser extent 2 pretty well: Thomas (and by extension Marinette) think Adrien is perfect, so even when he behaves selfishly and foolishly, heâs still narratively treated like the good guy. Plus, Marinette still has had no development because they donât know how to write girls rip
that being said I did enjoy lots of bits:
- Adrienâs heart eyes every time he looked at Marinette and Luka. I donât think the latter was intentional, but they were there
- the end card, with Luka and Adrien back to back with a heart between them. I donât think the implied meaning was intentional, but it was there
- Alya pointing out that Luka and Adrien have to choose if they want to date Marinette. Alya has been... eh recently - sheâs kind of a toxic friend - but this was very astute
- Kagami
- Desperadaâs design is HOT as hell
- Rose protecting Juleka god theyâre so sweet and Iâm so bitter over the âbffâ comment from the last episode, I mean what?? theyâre datingÂ
