she’s keeping a lot of thing for herself because she doesn’t want to bother others

our fashion sense is similar maybe...in a way that she’s not very into fashion trends and stuff

in the beginning, she doesn’t really try to empathize with others; in contrast I would say that I sometimes tend to think too much about how others feel or what their opinions and thoughts might be

she isn’t wearing any dresses - I ONLY wear dresses lol not because I want to be especially feminin or anything like that but I’ve just been disliking wearing pants for at least ~2 years (only exception: at home I’m wearing sweats but not outside)

I had some upstairs neighbors that liked to party to the wee hours of the morning on weeknights, several nights a week. I bought a white noise machine--it blocked most of their sounds, and what it didn't entirely block it at least dampened it enough that I could sleep through it.

25 - A Scene You’ve Rewatched A Million Times

I decided to participate in the second drama exchange since the first one worked out pretty well for me. This time around my match is @asphodelwild (hello~).

The list of dramas I received from my watch were: Delightful Girl Choon Hyang Two Weeks Queen’s Classroom

I’m going to be watching Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. I was pretty surprised when I saw this list because I actually hadn’t heard of any of these dramas before! So I’m going into this drama with no preconceived notions or anything, which is kind of a first for me. But it makes me excited to watch and see what this drama is about!

For my match, I picked these: Liar Game - Since one of their favorite genres was mystery/thriller, this was the drama that first popped into my head. This drama is really thrilling (I remember it keeping me on the edge of my seat the entire time) and doesn’t have any romance in it, so I thought it’d be perfect for my match. JIN - Again, I picked the drama based off of their favorite genres, this one being a historical drama with a bit of mystery mixed in. I almost put this in the number one spot because of my own preference since JIN is one of the best dramas I’ve seen, but dropped it down to number 2 since I wasn’t sure if my match would enjoy the medical aspect of it. Mask - I honestly had a hard time picking the third drama since I wasn’t sure if I should go with another historical one or pick something a little different. I decided to go with Mask because while it is a melodrama, I didn’t think it was too over the top and it gets pretty thrilling at times. So I thought my match might enjoy something like that.

I watched it! It’s been awhile, so my memory of it is a tad fuzzy–but I remembering loving its dark sense of humor, and of course, Lee Bo Young.

AM1994 is totally nonessential viewing. You’ll be frustrated for the reason you think you’ll be frustrated, but also because by the end every episode is boring and self-indulgent and about three times as long as it needed to be.

It’s sort of nice to hear that I wouldn’t be missing anything! The length has been getting to me even this early--I actually cheered out loud when I saw that episode 7 was only 1 hour long! (And then episode 8 was 1 hour 15 minutes. Sigh...)

1994’s strengths are essentially the same as 1997’s (sense of nostalgia, focus on friendship and families). They might outweigh its weaknesses if you hadn’t already seen 1997, but since you have, you wouldn’t really be missing out if you dropped it.

Well, this just about decides it. I’m going to give myself some time to sit on it, but at a certain point life is too short. And it’s not like someone is going to give me a medal for sitting through a show that I find dull and offensive (though if that were a thing that happened, I would have already received my medal for Full House. I’m just saying).
