For @aspecpridecalendar. I've been playing a lot of ClickerHeroes lately, and every time the Foomgus shows up, I keep realizing that it looks like the aroflux pride flag.
Headcanons for @aspecpridecalendar arospec day.
I can headcanon most characters as on the aromantic spectrum, but here are a few I see as identifying specifically as "arospec."
Tycho Celchu (Star Wars Legends) - Sometimes I specify (usually grayromantic), but I pretty much always see him as arospec. It's just rare he truly feels romantically attracted to someone. He's only truly been romantically in love with Nyiestra and Wedge (or Nyiestra and Winter if you prefer canon ;)). He's also pansexual and has no issue having a sexual encounter with someone, assuming they understand more is likely off the table.
The other two are part of an exclusive club I like to call "boys who think they're straight but are really arospec bi."
Corran Horn (Star Wars Legends) - Probably also acespec. Just generally has a complicated relationship with sex and romance. He's uncomfortable being pursued, and it takes him a long time to get comfortable enough with someone to pursue something with them. Also very much (at least as of the early X-wing books) not ready to acknowledge that he likes men as well as women.
Dean Winchester (Supernatural) - Definitely aroallo. Has no problem sexing any lady who will let him, and has the easy excuse of having to move on right away rather than examine why he can't seem to actually develop deeper feelings for any of them. Probably hates his arospec identity because it's just another part of him that isn't "normal." Cassie is the only person he has ever loved. With Lisa, he liked her, but he was more in love with the idea of the normal life she offered and never did develop true romantic attraction for her. Also deeply in denial about being bi, and that along with the general rareness of romantic feelings is why it took him basically forever to work out that, oh, he kinda is into Cas actually.
