Ingredients: 1 bunch of asparagus spears. 1 package of refrigerated breadstick dough. 8-10 slices of bacon. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 375F 190C. Clean and cut off the tough ends of the spears of asparagus. The chilled breadstick dough should be unrolled and divided into individual sticks. Starting at one end, wrap a slice of bacon around each spear of asparagus, spiraling it around the vegetable. If necessary, use toothpicks to secure the bacon. Arrange the breadsticks of asparagus wrapped in bacon on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Melted butter, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt and pepper should all be combined in a small bowl. Drizzle a liberal amount of the butter mixture onto every asparagus breadstick wrapped in bacon. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the bacon is crisp.
