Fox, if I could pick one mutual to be trapped on a desert island with, it would be you. For one, as you've shown time and time again, if I get stressed or panicky or "all hope is lost," you'll be right there with calm and logic and facts and immediately soothe all my worries away. For another, while we're just sitting around trying to figure out how we're getting off this island, we'd have so many interesting conversations about a wide variety of topics. Obviously pirates, but I feel like every other day I see you make an original post about something and I'm always just sitting there like "HOW does Fox know this much about this topic too?" It's all just very cool and I know I'd never be bored.

As far as I'm concerned, you're THE meta writer of OFMD. Your takes are all so well-thought out and insightful and many times have given me new ways to consider topics even when I SWEAR I've already considered all the ways.

Plus you also show so much care for others and work to keep this fandom a safe space for everybody. You are always fighting the good fight, just like this guy 🤺, whether it's against bad takes or TERFs or the astonishing lack of media literacy. Or just people being dicks.

I so admire your brain and your composure and your heart, and also very much enjoy sharing the occasional hot tea with you. Every single day I am so grateful that you're here. 💕
