Garrick: Seconded, we ran out of cleaning supplies from the amount of blood last time.

Rhiannon: The question should really be who isn’t Ridoc crushing on?

Sawyer: Yeah, I’m pretty sure he’s tried to hit on me a couple of times.

Ridoc: Hey, now, I have standards.

Violet: Your only standard is that they can move.

Ridoc: Yes, excuse you, I am a man of consent! Also, this is my question so all of you can shoo. 

(Swats Iron Squad away)

Ridoc: If you must know, I am still trying to work my magic on Xaddy Xaden. (waggles eyebrows)

(A thread of shadow rises slowly from under his chair and smacks him in the head… hard)

Ridoc: OW! (rubs head and looks around the room for Xaden) You’ll break one day, Xaden!

(Rhiannon and Sawyer peek their heads in the door)

Rhiannon: It’s insane to me that you’re not worried for your life, going after him like that. 

Ridoc: Pshh, I’m not afraid of shadow daddies. 

Sawyer: It’s not Xaden you should be afraid of…

(Lightning splits the sky outside the window, and Ridoc jolts out of his seat)

Rhiannon: Yeah, Violet doesn’t really like to share…

Xaden: *glaring at Garrick*

Bodhi: You know, it’s my humble opinion that Xaden has great hugs. In fact, I would wager that he has the best hugs.

Xaden: You guys are really laying it on thick, huh?

Violet: Xaden. 

Xaden: …Yes, love?

Violet: Give them a hug. You don’t have to be so violently anti-social all the time. You probably need it as much as they do, anyway.

Xaden: … 

Garrick: Come on, honey bear. Show us the sweet stuff.

Xaden: … 

(Xaden hugs you tightly, but relaxes after a moment)

Violet: See? You needed that.

Bodhi: AWW, next thing we know our Duke of Tyrrendor is going to be kissing babies all the way down the block!

Ridoc, appearing from out of nowhere: Hello, yes, I am a baby and would like to be kissed by Xaden.

Xaden: Nope.

(Shadows push Ridoc out and slam the door)

Bodhi: Listen, I’ve unfortunately been privy to the damn near sexual relationship he has with that dessert. I don’t think anyone can love chocolate cake as much as Xaden does.

Violet: *laughing* 

Xaden: *eye roll* Okay, you know you’re exaggerating with that one. 

Bodhi: No, I’m serious. Do you not remember the absolute rampage you went on when Ridoc and Sawyer rigged your birthday cake to explode last year?

Xaden: I feel like my reaction was perfectly justified. Don’t fuck with my birthday cake and I won’t fuck with you.

Violet: Xay, Brennan did have to spend an hour mending Ridoc after you tripped him on the stairs chasing him…

Xaden: I did not trip him, he fell. 

(Xaden definitely tripped him)

Bodhi: To answer your question, I love me some chocolate cake, especially from right here in Aretia. However, seeing as I don’t want any broken bones, I’m going to leave that title to Xaden. Man’s out here treating frosting like a love language, and I respect it from a safe distance.

Violet: You say that like you weren’t the one who stole a slice in the middle of the night and tried to gaslight him into thinking it was a dragon.

If you could trade signets with anyone, who would it be?

Violet: Anyone? I’d swap with Rhiannon. Her signet would make sorting through the books in the Riorson House library go by so much faster. Xaden: You would give up Tairn’s power to be able to… finish your reading list?

Violet: Yes, and I would be happy instead of stressing about burning irreplaceable tomes! Xaden: Fine, then I’ll take yours. I don’t think something subtle would work out in my favor, anyway. Rhiannon: (Rolls eyes) Like you need more power. You glower enough without the thread of spontaneous combustion.  Garrick: I'd take Liam's. I wouldn't mind being the eyes in the sky. Liam: You know, distance walking doesn't seem so bad.

Bodhi: I’d swap with Sawyer, actually. Bending metal with my mind? Gives me an idea to make a wyvern-sized bear trap.

Ridoc: Okay, well I want Xaden’s. Could you imagine the badassery of me and shadows? The world isn’t ready. Sawyer: The world? Are you sure you’re ready? I can see you somehow tripping on shadows within five minutes of the swap. Imogen: I’m not trading. I like mine just fine. But I could use some of Ridoc’s brazen confidence. Ridoc: Yeah, yeah, let’s all make fun of Ridoc.

Sawyer: People? Worrying about me? I’m alright... I wish I could say I was in one piece, but you can’t win ‘em all. Some days are better than others, but it’s nice to know I’ve got a fanclub out there somewhere rooting for me. It makes this whole rider thing feel worth it.
