Hi, everyone. Sorry to say it, but this is going to be my final post on this blog; nothing but clean-up after this. I decided quite a while ago that once Season 22 was over, I was going to quit it. I’m sure a lot of you have questions, and my inbox is closed for now, so I’m going to do my best to address them in this post.
1. “Why are you quitting?” As I’m sure you expected, it’s a combination of things. But first off, it has NOTHING to do with this new policy Tumblr is putting in place, that’s just coincidental timing...like I said, I planned this several months ago. I may sound like an ass here, but the policy bans NSFW content, right? While I neither produce nor consume that content, I understand there are many Tumblr users who do, and I’m sorry they’re being stifled. I don’t think Tumblr is making the best choice here, but it doesn’t affect me, so I’m in no position to really speak about it. *sweat* So my reasons are basically fatigue (I’ve been at this for over 3 years, people OVER 700 POSTS), me becoming increasingly busy and trying to decrease my amount of obligations.
2. “What’s going to happen to this blog?” It’s never going to be deleted. I’m keeping it and everything on it, you can like, reblog, etc. anything here. I’m just going to leave it as it is now.
3. “Is there anywhere else I can follow for content like this?” Yes, actually! For so long, I didn’t have a “main blog”, but I’m in the beginning stages of one! @homefryboy On this blog I plan to post doodles, mainly fan art (including South Park stuff), make other dumb posts related to my interests, and reblog a couple things. It’s going to take some time, but I’ll get used to it... If you like this blog, I think you’ll probably like the new one. But if you don’t want to follow it because you just want SP stuff, that’s up to you.
4. “What kinda stuff will be on your new blog?” You’ll just have to follow it and seeeee. Really, I’m being vague because I think there’ll be too much variety to list, I’m scattered like that. But I assure you South Park will be there in the jumble.
5. “When will you re-open your inbox?” After about a month, or whenever I feel settled in. Maybe I’ll even keep taking requests? I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Those are all the questions I could think of, but feel free to leave...whatever else in replies, and I’ll probably respond. Some advice on that new account would be greatly appreciated by me ^^; Thank you all so much for the asks, the support, likes, reblogs, nice comments, all of that over the years!
