You are definitely on the right track - Laurel has been in Charles' orbit for a long time! (Which makes him forgetting her name even more egregious) She is a woman on a mission, and charles is definitely a big part of that mission. Her dislike of vivi was mainly two fold - first the affair with charles taking her plans off track and then second because she was taking all of Margaret's attention - and Margaret is the other part of her plans.

Charles is a very flawed character - we can all agree on this. The simple answer..... is yes sort of. In his own way.

The long answer.....

@armoricaroyalty and I have had long enjoyable chats about Charles and Vivi's relationship and Charles saw her as an escape from the pressure and responsibility that Victoria represents. She fun, she doesn't demand anything from him in those weeks that they shared together, and he can just relax. I haven't really shown him much recently but hes kind of pouting like a sad man baby at the moment, first from losing his escape, intimacy (which he craves) without commitment, and second from the reprimand from his father. However while he doesn't love her, he does care about her.

With Victoria..... I would say yes he does love her but very deep down it a place that he is unable to express properly or appropriately. Victoria represents a lot of what he runs from in life, responsibility, duty, commitment etc. She needs things from him and hes not comfortable with that which leads to his very stupid decisions. His father also really did a number on him - he craves his approval (or anyone's approval for that matter) no matter what he says to other people so being rejected by him still fucks him up.

I'll choose the soon-to-be newest Lancaster, Ms Alexandra!

Alexandra is the only child of the Earl and Countess of Winslow. Her Father is a very liberal member of the House of Lords, which often gets him off-side with other members of the aristocracy.

Unlike other aristocratic young ladies (like Victoria) she went to Frederick University and studied anthropology and business.

She currently works at Global Woman, a Charity that works towards supporting and developing women in leadership roles.

Her hobbies include gardening, shopping, and visiting museums. Every year her goal is to read more books but never quite manages it!

She is more on the quieter side, not because she has nothing to say, but because she chooses her moment to use her voice. She is scared that this voice will be stifled by entering the Royal Family.

I would pick soft reboot! I would love to do a story told fully from the perspective of the staff. The west wing is one of my favourite tv shows so it would be like that - the real story behind a famous institution etc.

Margaret is going to be my lovely style icon! Shes been pretty safe until now but she has always loved fashion, clothes and make up. I'm looking forward to experimenting with her looks!

Only three? That's tough! In no particular order:

Zola from @thegrimalldis. While I love Chris/Emi, I really like the character of Zola and the story that she went on with her music and her music management, then forming a cosmetics company. I love stories where people regain or discover their power. I also love that while she has a whole other life with marriage and a son, that she did gets her ending with Chris that doesn't take away from his marriage with Emi.

Eleanor from @trentonsimblr. I will always love Eleanor even when I don't agree with her recent actions!! She has her flaws but also her great qualities that make her a balanced character.
