Dunno if I ever mentioned this here before, but I actually have an old Stray fanfic that I got really close to finishing. Even started writing multiple oneshots and a whole prequel for it too!

It was my biggest and most ambitious project yet, and I had so many future plans for it. Imagine full renders for most of the chapters (only got to finish one), but then when Tee came along, and I was already losing interest by that point, I just ended up abandoning it altogether

It was the one thing that kept my attention on Stray for so long, before I was an active part of the fandom, writing my silly little story all by myself, for myself. It was also the one thing that got me back into writing after years, and it will forever have a special place in my heart

Honestly, I find the idea of rewriting it all over again incredibly daunting. Of course, there's always the easy/lazy route of reusing old chapters, but the main characters, my ocs, Tee and Sage are so different in both personality and worldview, I just can't bring myself to do it…

After all, it's Sage's story, not Tee's, not anyone else's, and it would just feel wrong for me to rip that away from her, as silly as it may sound

I may not have as much free time to put into Tee's story as I did with Sage, but I want to do it justice, even if that means rewritting it entirely from scratch. The same goes for Bee

Though her story suddenly became so much bigger, her world so much more expansive and meaningful than I could have ever imagined, and it's all thanks to you, my dear friend

Being able to create a story alongside you guys, spending hours just throwing ideas at each other back and forth, has been the most fun I had in literal years and I will be forever grateful for this opportunity. It means more to me than you can ever imagine <3

Funnily enough, sunflowers are actually my all-time favorites, not only because I generally find them really pretty, but also because of what they symbolize: Happiness, loyalty and strength, which is also why I so strongly associate them with Tee

Deep down, Tee is a very hopeful person who, no matter the clouds, no matter the concrete sky and no matter the struggles she faces along her journey, always finds it in herself to face the sun again and in that sense, she's kinda like a sunflower to me hehe

I've never mentioned this here before I think? But after Bee's sacrifice, she falls into a deep depression and self-isolation. And while in our AU he survives and they get to meet again, I want to sincerely believe that even if he didn't make it, Tee would eventually, after enough time has passed, the scars have dulled and the grief subsided, find the strength to pick herself back up again...

Oh boy do I have MANY, in fact I really really love the entire Stray soundtrack and I think all the tracks are amazing and deserve love and recognition in their own right, buuut to keep this post from being too long, I'll just list a few of my absolute favorites!

I LOVE the beginning of Dead City and how it's able to immediately draw you in and set the mood for the entire game as soon as you enter the city. Dare I say, I think the beginning wouldn't have been as impactful and haunting without it.

I also really love Town Square for the exact opposite reason than Dead City. It's a very positive track, hopeful and fits the mood of the chapter perfectly. Which, as the start screen says, is called hope.

Both Secret Lab and Raft deserve to be here too. Not only because they are absolutely beautiful tracks and most soothing of them all imo, but also because I remember you saying that you see them as a response to each other and I love that idea so much! It honestly made me adore them even more <3

Control Room is my personal favorite, mainly cuz of the raw feeling of urgency and desperation it evokes in me. I both absolutely love and hate how it gradually escalates and escalates until it seamlessly transitions into B-12's motif, ripping my heart out.

It's so so good and absolutely succeeds in keeping you on the edge of your seat until it hits you right in the face with the feels at the end.

Seriously, did the composer at least kiss the brick before throwing it at me?

Daybreak is really good too, but I would have probably enjoyed it more if I wasn't busy crying my eyes out haha

I always really loved the one in Dead end. There's just something so hauntingly beautiful about that place, and it plays one of my favorite songs from the Stray soundtrack (raft my beloved)

Also because I absolutely adore the memory that comes with it </3

When we get to the Outside, what if we found ourselves a little cottage with a harmless fishing rod and a lot of books?

Oh I have a lot actually!!

Guardian, Jacob, Morusque, Elliot, Grandma, Swanito, Kosma, Heptor (his face is so silly! Also he drops lore on the Outsiders), Roshee, Malo, May, Paoudre, Zbaltazar (with the amount of screen time he got, he might as well be lol), and the list goes on...

It's always a pleasure seeing you on my dash. Your art is so lovely—it feels like it's taken straight from the game! You give B-12 the attention he deserves and breathe life into our little community. Thank you for sharing your love for Stray and being such a kind person.
