If it helps, you should look at others gemsonas, to inspire you i mean~ also, just look up gems/gemstones/stones on google and do the one that catches your eye the most. At least thats what i did. Even, pick a color and go from there. i tended to go for out of the ordinary ones, uncommon ones. Try that? Oh and youre welcome~ ^3^

Honesly, that’s what I’ve been trying to do, and i chose a few gems i like, some green ones and pink ones and blue ones, but now i’m not sure. i realize i kinda suck at character design tbh ahahaha,,

you know, i never stuck with which gem to choose to make my gemsona with, since i didn’t want to step on any toes for what other people have chosen as their gem...... 

another friend suggested i make my own Inside Out-like emotions, designs/color schemes for the main five of Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger.

This isn't just a one-year thing.

These little guys are going to be going on my Christmas tree for years, and years to come. And I mean that. 10+ years, and longer if I can help it.

If I've made your character into an ornament, I love them THAT much.
