I was so taken aback as I am a poc and used to struggle with wanting to white wash myself

hmm, personally i've never really had to deal with hate comments, but if it happened to me and it was just hate than a valid criticism i would probably just block them and move on

in your case if you think there might be some truth to what they said you could take another look at your art and see how you feel about it. just try to figure out whether they're genuinely trying to give constructive feedback or if they're only saying it to make you feel bad

i'm gonna open at some point this year alongside my patreon, promise! and yeah, i'll totally do yume and oc characters too!!
