Mun: I believe Mary Sues/Gray Stus are important to a creatorsā development! Everyoneās has/had one at one point. The way people make fun of them is unfair. Itās how we all grow. Plus itās harmless fun, why do people have to ruin it?
If I have to be nitpicky about one aspect of Mary Sues/Gary Stus, itās the fact that theyāre absolutely perfect. Nope, not their neon rainbow designs, or anything else. Just that theyāre perfect. Thatās boring. Perfect characters are unrelatable and a pain to interact with, especially an in an rp. Because the mun of a perfect character will become angry if you āsomehowā dislike their amazing flawless creation because everyone is supposed to love them. Characters, like real life beings, are meant to have flaws. If there are none, the character is flat and lackluster, which will ironically lead to no one (irl at least) liking themĀ
