sometimes, i forget that you’re only supposed to be teaching me about
books and how to analyze something about them- i start thinking that
above all you are teaching me how to love someone even though it’s
hard. because oh god does it get hard to love you when i’m walking down
the street seeing some couple hold hands and i’m forced to think ’ why can’t
i be doing that ? why do i have to keep quiet all the time ‘. i know why i
can’t do that though - i know why i can’t just kiss you or simply hold your
hand because then i’d risking losing you which would be worse than just
having to keep quiet. loving you is hard. loving you is having to settle for
holding your hand whenever i can. loving you is having to tell you how i feel
through a text message because there is no way i’d be able to get all of this
out in the moments we have together. loving you is also worth it.
