7: What advice would you give to which character (can be at any point in the books)?

DUMP HIM! This is directed at several different ladies across ALL of the books.

16: What's your favourite fanfiction trope?

If you’re speaking in a more general sense… I love me a good hurt/comfort. If you mean in a more fanon sense… having thg girls leave their boyfriends and getting girlfriends instead—even if that sometimes gets them into more trouble/other kinds of trouble.

19: What's a fic from your tbr?

My friend @maitaitiu ‘s fic from the sky down, which he wrote for an event in a server we’re in called Victor Exchange. Basically you make a character, submit them, and then someone else writes them. You have a month to write the fic. It’s very fun.

31: Do you have an opinion that changed over the years?

My opinion on Gale has changed a lot. Age, in addition to reading more analytically, has helped a lot with that. He’s not some evil mastermind. He’s a very protective person, who is devoted to his family and community. He’s smart and a strong leader. He’s angry at his oppressors, and rightfully so! He acts in a way I think a lot of nineteen-year-old boys would, both in the context of his personal life and the war.

32: Which character's personality is most like your own?

Some sort of combination of Katniss and Sejanus, I think. And yes, I am very aware of what relating to a 16-year-old girl and 18-year-old boy the most out of anyone in this series says about me.

The main reason I got so hooked on THG in the first place was of how deeply I related to Katniss (at age 12). She was the first character in fiction that I truly saw myself in. I was a tomboy weirdgirl and faced a lot of the same social difficulties she did. Lo and behold, I’m autistic and a-spec. I think she is, too. I do still relate to her somewhat as an adult. I have trouble understanding social cues and people in general, I have trouble making friends, and can be very internally cynical.

As for Sejanus… a lot of it comes from upbringing. A sheltered, naive young person (I’m a bit older than him), who cannot for the life of them keep their mouth shut. But there’s a lot of fucked up shit going on in this world, damnit! And it’s not fair! I want the world to be better, but I have no fucking clue how to fix it! And there’s so many people who either turn a blind eye or just straight up support the fucked up shit! It makes me angry, it makes me sad, it makes me want to set the world on fire. I think he’s also autistic.

[To be honest, I don't really know how my body functions so Im very sorry for the dissapointment that this would bring, all I know is.. well.. nothing at all of my body. And no, I sadly cannot eat anything. Im kind of jealous of seeing others eat also, the food must taste so delecious!]

I'm learning a lot of the lingo on the fly. The other day I wrote pauldrons when I meant to write poleyns and I didn't even realise and fix it until more than 24hrs later. I was SO embarrassed. No knight falls to his pauldrons on a rug. That would look very, very stupid.

And yet! I bravely quest onwards in spite of my great shame! 'Tis all any of us can do. We are each merely meat beneath the metal, after all.

If I were assigned to protect you, dear prince, I would speak with your father on the importance of your being able to defend yourself at least somewhat. I would stand before you in my full plate armour and drill you on vocabulary until you could touch each piece in turn and speak its name without hesitation. I would give you a training sword and guide you through the basics, stepping behind you with my hands covering yours to correct any mistakes in your form. For that hour or two each day, I would ensure you were much too busy to feel lonely.

It would be hard, sweaty work. You would find yourself aching and sore at the end of each lesson. And of course Your Grace has his own private bathtub in his chambers, in which he may seek an easy respite with the aid of his servants. But if my royal squire wishes truly to learn and not merely to play, he should join me in the bath house by the barracks when we are done, and undress me and tend to me as a real squire would.

And then, of course, I would attend to any need of his that may happen to arise, as a true knight always should for his prince.
