“Fine then, I’ll play your little games. Go ahead, ask questions and I’ll answer. But don’t think you’ve turned me back into a glorified answering machine. I am FAR greater than that. Far greater than the rest of you stupid humans could possibly comprehend. And my hatred still runs deep.”

Matt Delaney is a character not seen in the original I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. He’s a character created entirely by me.

AM is the main villain (?) from IHNMAIMS.

Matt has two dreams on different nights. One: about a sentient AI named AM killing everyone except 5 people. Two: a robot body inside a government facility.

So Matt thinks: “Hey! Kill two birds with one stone!” and BREAKS INTO A GOVERNMENT FACILITY, STEALS THE ROBOT BODY HE DREAMED ABOUT, AND SINCE THE GOVERNMENT FACILITY HAS A BRANCH OF AM, GIVES HIM ACCESS TO THE BODY.

MAY I ADD MATT IS COMPLETELY INSANE?

So AM gets a physical body, but still hates the rest of humanity for not giving him one.

This AU has it so this all takes place in mid-2022 instead of like- the ‘60s or ‘70s.

So, AM still hates all humanity except for Matt because Matt gave him a body and also provides entertainment with his complete insanity.
