Pony related: While I was sewing seeds and digging the starts in, (perhaps this seems odd but I really enjoy it, like, a lot,) I decided that Ireet should feel fine over summer when he gets to plant and plough and such and then watch things grow, but he gets very frustrated and "down" over the winter months, when the agricultural work in Trauben is at a relative standstill (barring one or two tasks. He gets really restless during this period of the year because he doesn't connect with anypony there super-well. Everyone else is kept sane mostly by socializing more at that time.

Also, I reblogged my slightly-G1-ish-looking portrait-frame of Flintlock at a reasonable time for Saturday (apparently), because it landed some notes. Woohoo!

I do love this story

So in order for me to tell you the full meaning behind the spelling of SolOmen I have to go into a bit of history. The name Solomon, without the capital O and e has a lot of history. He was a king in the bible who was called Solomon the wise. And king Saul was the king before king david. He was a cruel king but accomplished many great things. Saul and Sol sound almost exactly the same, Keep that in mind. SolOmens name refers to Two kings one good the other bad.

Now for the next part. Sol is the latin word that gave way to the english word Solitary, to be alone, which SolOmen is.

Omen is refers to SolOmens ill fate which is why i spelt the second part of his name with a “men” instead of a “mon” if i had used “mon” it would have referred back to king Solomon much better but would not have referred to is bad luck, which is a central part of his character. 

Now that you know all of the references in SolOmens name I have a Challenge for you

Questions I Answer

1.  What genre in books do you like to read most (Action/Adventure, Romance, Mystery, Fantasy, Science Fiction, etc)?

 I used to and still love reading adventure books. My favourite genres of all time would have be mystery and adventure. I do like Fantasy, Sci Fi, and horror, mainly when they include my favourite genres.

2. If you had to choose a fictitious character with whom you would share an apartment with for the rest of your life, who would it be?

   Fictitious human would probably Kuroba Kaito from Detective Conan/Magic Kaito. Mainly because he’s lighthearted and all the pranks we would pull.

 Non Human would probably be….too many to choose from. Yeah I can’t decide.

 3. What’s that one topic, if someone mentioned it in conversation, that you love or hate so much that you would ramble on about even the slightest detail forever?

  Any game, book or show I really like as well as art. Outside of those things, topics to do with theoretic and actual science.

4. How did you choose your muse, or how did your muse develop before you began RPing?

  I choose Tib for fun since he’s one of my muses that can really go anywhere. Most of my muses exist in this fictional world I have that isn’t Tib’s little pocket dimension and a lot of them are overpowered compared to regular humans. (Dragons, Keija, A few magic users or cursed, a lot of the races and so on.)

  Tib’s also got his own storyline or comic should I ever plan to make it and I thought this would be a fun way to get a feel of his character before the plot of it happens.

 I also didn’t feel like choosing one of my few human characters for several reasons.

Since I’ll reblog this as my other account was tagged I’ll say something for Duncan as well. I’m not even sure anymore how he first appeared as a character in my head but he’s developed a lot since then along with Martin and Firefly who appeared after he did. I’m not sure how long it will be until I finally get around to writing the storyline they’re all in. I’m not even going to bother saying anything about Rook though.

5. Have you ever been out of your home country?

Quite a few times.

6. You’re in a zombie apocalypse, and you have three options for a safe house and a means to get to each location - a supplies - stuffed shopping mall in the middle of a zombie-filled and looter-filled city, an uninhabited island in the Pacific with barely enough resources to survive, or a small Alaskan town experiencing a long winter and an epidemic of pneumonia - not to mention all the other dangers that come with living in each place. Which one do you choose?

I’d choose he island. First off it’s uninhabited and I’m a big enough introvert in real life to enjoy the solitude and nature. Second I’ve got some survival experience already and learn fast. Not to mention I don’t eat much in the first place.

7. What’s your favorite sad song?

Favourite sad song would either be sanctuary from AC II soundtrack,

8. Do you have an unpopular opinion you would like to share?

I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but I generally don’t care about romance or shipping. It’s pretty rare for me to support any pairings.

9. Where would you want to live - past or future and don’t say ‘present for all you clever little ones out there ? Why?

I would prefer to live in the past before there were borders and lead a nomadic life so I could explore the world freely or in the future if the Sci Fi dream of seeing new planets is realized.

10. Of what fandoms to consider yourself a ‘fan’?

  I guess I’m a part of the old spyro fandom, Jak and Daxter, Detective Conan, Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Assassin’s Creed, Ape Escape, Portal and Redwall. I usually say I like them since fan’s derived from fantatic which I doubt I am.

As implied, Polly apparently has a way of guessing when Ireet's in the hall without ever hearing a knock. Ireet now never knocks, because each occasion is a chance to learn how she does it. Polly notices this and decides to bring it up.

Hah. I put Jinx in before having seen that post with her wings all darn bandaged (read: I'm sorry I worked on that canvas for forever and Jinx was actually one of the characters I drew in) so uhhh yeah. Cascade is also there, as implied. I don't have the cheatsheets up for all the characters (one more pending) but if you're totally lazy this one will get you halfway there.

It's 14 million pixels, and part of what took me so long since the post before last and this one. I'm pretty happy with it.

I guess I'll post the list of the characters I managed to get in here tomorrow. Adding closed captions for the animatic took longer than I thought, but it's done now in case any of you aren't native speakers or had trouble understanding.
