"Make sure you bring a jacket." He said quietly as he watched Adam pack from the doorway of their room. His love had to leave for a trip, and, despite the fact he genuinely understood that and that he had seemed genuinely normal (outside of his night terrors even Adam couldn't seem to prevent), here he stood in their door looking more like a broken child than a nearly 500 year old vampire. It was the first Henry had shown what his recent trauma had done to him. "It is going to be cold."
He didn’t want to go any more than Henry wanted him to go. Why did things always have to happen when one of them got home? Oh well, he’d add it to the list of reasons to do horrible things to the Fates once he found out where they lived.
“The quicker it’s done the sooner I’ll be back. It shouldn’t be too bad though.”
