⭐️ Based on their schedules, Christian is less of an early riser than Owen, who’s used to working some weird shifts, being a nurse. When one is at the others’ house, Christian almost always sleeps in, waking up to the smell of coffee and even though he’s very particular about his coffee beverages, he always drinks whatever Owen makes for him because he finds it so sweet that he did it at all.

⭐️Christian’s not a big fan of driving or cars any more. When he and Owen go out for a drive however, Christian’s oddly comforted by how loud Owen plays his music. He knows it’s so Owen can feel the beat, but Christian finds himself focusing more on the music and Owen’s hand on his thigh, and less on the cars zooming by.

Owen: “I don’t know how I got so lucky as to meet you. The fact that you were some hot guy walking by and I asked you a silly question and you actually stopped and talked to me... not only that, but engaged in a full conversation with me via text when I knew absolutely no ASL. It shows the content of your character, and I knew immediately that you were a good person. Every day we spend time together, I find myself liking you more. It doesn’t make any sense, how someone can be so kind and thoughtful, and make me feel so wanted and important.” 

James: “You’re such a sweetheart- you know that your mom and I’ve got your back if you ever need anything. You’re such a sweet and genuine person- I want the best for you. I feel like an honorary uncle to you and I hope you know that I’m always, ALWAYS here for you.”

“You think I’m cool? That’s a big compliment because I definitely never feel cool. But thank you, this was so sweet.” 

“Favorite thing is that it’s such an amazing language. Speaking without truly... speaking, if that makes sense. It’s so interesting! And I mean, on top of that, it means I can communicate even better with certain other people... I guess my least favorite thing is just that it’s hard to get it all down. And it’s hard to sign while using my cane.”
