Could I potentially get a small thing of a vary creative MC drawing one of the boys and just, silently giving it to them, refusing to elaborate, and just walking away
You absolutely can! Ok, let's do this one with just the brothers to start. Feel free to request the dateables next!
Lucifer:
Lucifer is flattered but also doesn't pass up the chance to tease MC about not being honest about their affection for him! Because of course he does, it wouldn't be Lucifer if he wasn't a pompous ass when receiving a gift. (A pompous ass that I love so much, I'm very much a Lucifer fan, it's awful)
He's going to corner them against a wall away from his brothers under the guise of thanking them for the gifts: "You have a wonderful eye for art, MC--it makes sense that it was only drawn to me, just like the rest of you."
Mammon:
He immediately regrets his gut reaction, which is to wave MC off and then make a show of crumpling it. Now MC is crying, and he's panicking, hugging them, and telling them how much he loves the art--he pours all the compliments he holds back from MC into their art.
Next time they're in his room, they'll notice it framed on his wall, something he's quick to brush off: "Well, the wall looked empty, and the drawin' was ok, I guess. Don't read into it or nothin', it's just a placeholder until I get something better." (Lie)
Leviathan:
Ego trip of the century--he has a drawing of himself from MC. It's one of a kind, from someone he loves, and will make all of his brothers jealous. He doesn't even care that it's some normie show of affection. It's his, and nobody else gets to have it.
That drawing is going to become his D.D.D. background and his social media profile pictures: "I can't believe you wasted your talent on such a gross otaku like me! Do you think you could draw me in anime style some time?"
Satan:
I'm a firm believer in Satan being a soft romantic at heart. He absolutely sees this as a courting gift and decides he needs to step up his game for MC. For the next week, they'll find roses, trinkets, and love notes that seem to almost magically appear everywhere they go.
The big surprise at the end of the week is what Satan was stalling for--he's written them an original love poem that he presents to MC with a bouquet of rare, human-safe devildom flowers: "Your drawing was beautiful, so I decided I needed to make something worthy of you in return."
Asmodeus:
He's never going to shut up about this. MC has created a monster--a clingy, rose-scented, affectionate monster. He's going to post this to social media and pay for it to be boosted to everyone because MC managed to capture him in all his glory down to the smallest detail.
Asmo would spoil MC rotten over this. He's going to buy them all the art supplies. On the downside, he's also declared himself their muse: "Oh, darling, do tell me when you want to do another drawing. I'm always happy to pose for you in private~ ♡"
Beelzebub:
I am weak, so MC drew him during a Fangol game. It's a rough sketch, mostly catching his action and form, but Beel loves it. He carries it around with him to show all his teammates because his human is so talented that they could draw him when he was moving!
He desperately wants to know how MC did it. Now he wants drawing lessons: "Can you teach me how to do that? I want to learn how to draw you so I can draw you when you're cooking. That way, when I eat while you're in the Mortal Realm, it'll be like you're here with me."
Belphegor:
Belphegor is going to be a brat about his gift. Why did MC draw him asleep with bedhead? It doesn't matter if they think it's cute. He thinks he looks silly. Ok, maybe it matters a little if they think it's cute.
He's going to display it in the attic as a reminder to check his hair when he wakes up from naps. Belphie still loves it, though: "Next time, leave out the bedhead, MC. Or just come nap with me."

headcanon: that bokuto doesn’t actually understand the meaning behind the tradition of giving someone the second button on your jacket at graduation (it is the button closest to you heart, so giving it to someone is a romantic gesture). so at his graduation, bokuto just gives akaashi every singe one of his jacket buttons thinking the more the merrier. and akaashi is too smitten to explain to bokuto the reason that it’s just supposed to be the second button :)
OH MY GOD DID YOU REACH INTO MY BRAIN?? DO YOU SECRETLY HAVE ACCESS TO MY KAGEHINA BIG BANG FIC???
Okay, so the scene isn’t this exactly, but it’s has the Bokuto energy. This is making me emotional, he’s such a precious himbo....
Can you do part 2 and 3 for ‘selfless MC headcannons’? (I really love your writing btw)
Hello, Anon! I actually wrote part 2, but I was silly and reblogged the original post instead of making a new post. So, if you've been waiting for Selfless MC Headcanon, here's the solo repost! I hope you enjoy it! <3
Lucifer:
Lucifer genuinely feels like he’s Fallen all over again. He didn’t just jeopardize the Exchange Program’s future, he also caused MC an incredible amount of pain when all they’d done is try to please him and take care of those around them. As the others start organizing efforts to find MC, Lucifer just sits in his chair thinking through every horrible thing he’d ever said to them, every achievement he’d dismissed, every threat he’d made, every flaw he’d criticized.
His pride won’t let him join the search or spam their D.D.D., but it will let him hole himself up in his room to wallow in his own guilt. He swears to himself that he’ll make this up to them, whatever it takes. If he has to, he’ll swallow his pride for a public apology. This man will not be able to sleep or work until MC is located. When he does leave his room, it’s in rumpled clothes and messy hair as he wanders the House of Lamentation, dark shadows prominent under troubled eyes.
Mammon:
Mammon feels like he’s about to throw up. The panic hasn’t left his body since he found MC’s room empty that morning, a note placed on the perfectly made bed explaining how they’ve been feeling and why they’re leaving. He hasn’t let anyone take the note, crumpled and stained with his tears, from him, not even Diavolo. This was the first person who ever treated him like he had any value and stood up to his brothers on his behalf, and in return, he treated them like dirt. The memories of every gift or word of praise they’d ever given him is simultaneously a million times more precious than the best of his possessions and enough to make him retch.
He’s the first to set out looking for MC, wandering the streets of Devildom while constantly calling their D.D.D. Every time he reaches voicemail and hears their voice on the greeting, his hearts sinks a little further as he leaves a rambling message asking where they are and begging them to call him back. He’d give all his treasures just to have them back, and he promises himself that once MC is found he’s going to spend the rest of MC’s life telling them everything he’s wishing he’d told them, even after they leave Devildom. He’ll never let them protect him from Lucifer’s punishments again.
Leviathan:
Leviathan initially allows himself to wallow in self-deprecation. Of course MC left, he’s a gross Otaku that messes everything up. However, as he listens to the others talk about how they treated MC, he realizes that this isn’t the time to make things about him. That’s when the guilt starts to set in. Once he realizes that all of MC’s attempts at friendship were genuine, it feels like his heart has been ripped out of his chest. All they’d ever tried to do was be kind to him. If he’d just trusted it, he could have had a friend to watch anime and play video games with. He had someone who actually sought out his company and he treated them like a thief.
He’s not one of the boys who will initially start the hunt for MC. At first, he sits alone in his room sending message after message to MC, willing the “sent” to turn into a “read” so he at least knows he’s reaching them. Then he’ll take to the internet, trying to find any traces of them. Finally, he’ll join the search in the 3D world for the first normie who he’d ever considered a friend. He just hopes he isn’t too late to tell them that.
Satan:
Satan is livid. It takes three of his brothers, including Beel, to restrain him from physically attacking Lucifer. Instead, he berates his brother for everything Lucifer put the exchange student through, eventually doing the same to each person present. When his brothers finally release him, he stalks out of the room to return to his own. After all, the only person left to be angry at is himself. He knew what was happening and didn’t do enough to stop it–maybe he even made it worse by giving them tips on how to please his selfish brothers.
He’ll join Mammon as soon as he hears there’s a search for MC. Not even cats are enough to distract him from the task at hand. He’ll send the occasional message, hoping like Levi for “read” to appear under one of the messages so he knows MC is at least receiving them. However, most of his messages are directed to those who stayed at the house in case MC came back, just in case they’d come home since he asked 30 seconds ago. Satan promises himself that if MC comes back, he’ll protect them better from his brothers. Nobody is ever going to make them hate themself this much as long as he has any say in the matter.
Asmodeus:
Asmodeus is absolutely inconsolable. He can’t believe that his darling devoted MC was going through this much and never told anyone. It takes him through the first day to figure out what the emotion gripping his heart is–guilt. He feels guilty for taking MC for granted, for not giving them the praise they so obviously deserved. He should have told them they were beautiful, how much he appreciated them, and that he loved them. He’d never had to charm them for their affection–they’d chosen to give it to him freely. Now he’s afraid he’s lost that for good.
He’s going to be one who waits to see if MC gets home, posting updates on social media asking people to send in any potential leads. Every new comment makes his heart leap, but for the first time in his life, he’s disappointed by ones that just contain empty praise. Like Mammon, he’s blowing up their phone with calls that always end in tearful voicemails. He promises himself that he’s going to shower them with the praise and pleasures MC deserves if they ever come home.
Beelzebub:
Beelzebub is heartbroken. This gentle giant never wanted to hurt MC, and he actually loses his appetite when he realizes they were going hungry to keep him fed. His head is full of MC’s smile and kind words as he listens to Satan’s angry words, absorbing and accepting every single one. He feels repulsed by his sin and how it clouded his judgement, never letting him see how much MC was sacrificing for him and the others.
You’d think he’d be one to join the search. However, his guilt manifests in a different form–Beel starts cooking in anticipation for MC’s return. No matter how much his stomach rumbles, he won’t touch anything he’s made, opting to eat leftovers out of the fridge. These dishes are for MC when they get back, and he’s going to keep cooking until they’re here to eat. He’s dedicating himself to making sure MC never goes hungry again, especially not for his sake. While he cooks, he keeps his D.D.D. handy, checking obsessively for news.
Belphegor:
Belphegor is about to realize he doesn’t hate one human as much as he thought he did. This is reinforced by the guilt and grief he can feel from Beel that mixes with and highlights his own. When he tries to go sleep it off, he realizes he can’t. All those times he faked not being able to sleep unless MC was with him have unfortunately made that a reality. He confines himself to the attic to sulk, tossing and turning restlessly in bed as he thinks over his mistreatment of MC. Belphie wonders how much of their life he disrupted for his selfish games as the pit in his stomach steadily grows.
Belphie absolutely wants to go search for MC, but the sheer exhaustion from lack of sleep makes him more of a liability than a help. Instead, he stumbles between the kitchen, where he makes sure Beel remembers to eat occasionally, and MC’s room. He lies on their bed, burying his head in the pillows that smell like them in hopes that it’ll be enough for him to go to sleep. He wants to text and call them like everyone else, but genuinely doesn’t believe he has the right to after all he put MC through. He decides that if they ever come back, he’s going to actually put in the effort to befriend them and remind them of how much he and his brothers care for them.
Diavolo:
Diavolo is furious with himself–it’s the only reason Satan gets away with his beratement. This human was his responsibility, he should have realized they were in pain and done better. Now they’re gone and could be in danger. He was so selfish, so blind. When he and Barbatos are alone again, he has to ask if the butler knew, if his order to not interfere with the future is what let things get to this point. Barbatos doesn’t have to answer–Diavolo already knows the answer.
If any of Devildom’s inhabitants choose to look outside their windows over the next few days, they’ll most likely be met with the sight of their prince in civilian clothes, mud and litter clinging to his shoes as he searches his kingdom, D.D.D. in hand. His work is abandoned on his desk at R.A.D. as Diavolo dedicates himself completely to finding MC. He practices in his head what he’ll say when he finds them, how sorry he is, how important they are to him and everyone else, and how that will never change.
Barbatos:
Barbatos seems indifferent, but on the inside he’s frantic. He’s picking through every possible future where they find MC, trying to piece together where they might be. Every time he runs across one where they never find MC or, even worse, find them dead, his blood runs cold. For the first time in his long, long life, he resents Diavolo’s orders to not use his powers, wishing he could put an end to all this and bring MC home.
Though he knows he shouldn’t, Barbatos nudges search efforts towards the places he sees most often in the future paths. He stays at the castle–just in case MC decides to go there–and takes a similar approach to Beel. He prepares food, tea, and a guest room, trying to check his D.D.D. as infrequently as possible. It’s almost always bad news, one of the spots he suggested coming up empty, but at least it isn’t the worst news. Still, every time the damn device beeps, Barbatos’s heart stops.
Simeon:
Simeon feels numb. He knew something was wrong and he didn’t try hard enough to fix it. The angel occupies himself by taking care of Luke, but the younger angel falls asleep eventually, leaving Simeon alone with his guilt. He finds himself in the sitting room of Purgatory Hall, a place where he and MC had often shared tea and chatted together, thinking about them. Are they somewhere safe? It looked like it was about to rain last time he looked outside, did they bring a jacket with them?
He wants to be out searching, but he knows if he went then Luke would want to go to and the smaller angel might slow the others down. Instead, he texts the rest of the search party regularly requesting updates and suggesting supplies to bring with them for all of the possible scenarios MC might be stuck in–food, water, blankets, fresh clothes, medical supplies, anything. If he can’t be there when they find MC, he’s definitely going to make sure all of them are prepared for any of MC’s potential needs.
Luke:
Luke feels like his world is crashing down around him. He was supposed to be MC’s guardian angel, but all along he was hurting them! He’s no better than the demons. Luke ends up sobbing in Simeon’s lap until he falls asleep. However, even in his dreams, he sees MC’s face. These dreams slowly turn into nightmares where he can see MC, sad and alone, but can do nothing about it. After hours of him crying in his sleep, Solomon is finally enlisted to charm him into a dreamless state so he can recover.
He desperately wants to go search for MC, arguing fiercely with Simeon when the older angel denies his request. Finally, he gives up and heads to the kitchen to bake. He bakes everything he remembers MC liking, pushing away the lingering worry that they only pretended to like it to make him happy. He won’t make them eat any of it, it’s just the thought that counts. Still, he decides when they get back he’s going to sit down with MC and ask them about their interests, likes, and dislikes. He’s going to be a better Guardian Angel from now on.
Solomon:
At first, Solomon thinks this is a sick joke, all part of MC’s master plan. Unfortunately, as the story starts to come out, he comes to the unfortunate realization that there was never any master plan, only a human desperate to prove themself and be of use. He should have treated them better, shouldn’t have made them do all of his chores, should have tried to be their friend. He let jealousy blind him, and now he’s paying the price. He can feel how distressed Asmo and Barbatos are, so he tries to tell himself any distress he feels is just from them. He’s wrong.
His job is to head to the Mortal Realm on the off chance that MC managed to make it back there. His only guide is the folder about them from the beginning of the Exchange Program, which gives a vague idea of their background and where they’re from. He walks the streets of their hometown, wondering how homesick MC must have been–nobody in Devildom had treated them with any sort of kindness, especially him. He occasionally texts MC using his D.D.D., begging them to tell him where they are, telling them how sorry he is, and promising that if they come back safe he’ll do all of their chores for the rest of the exchange program.
Hopefully this will live up to y’all’s expectation–I tried to incorporate enough angst and regret since I occasionally like punishing my favorite characters. Let me know what y’all think, and I’ll see you for part 3! (Seriously, if you reblog this with a review I will love you forever)

Hello there! I saw you writing for Moriarty the Patriot and I zoomed on over. If it's okay, may I please request some Sebastian or Sherlock x reader relationship head cannons for a female reader? Or you prefer to write for gender neutral, that's perfectly fine, too.
Thank you!!!!
HELLO, NEW FRIEND! I apologize in advance for all the parts of this that you did not request. I took your request for relationship headcanons with Moran and decided to also include Louis Moriarty, Fred Porlock, James Bonde, and Von Herder. Before I knew it, the simple relationship beginnings headcanons to flesh out the Reader base OC I made for YnM fics was over 3k words--this is the first one I've posted with a female reader, too! Sebastian's headcanons will be first, with the others under the read more cut. I hope you all enjoy! <3
Sebastian Moran
How They Met: Sebastian was on the mission that Y/N had accidentally derailed–how did that happen, you may ask? Well, when they’d started leaving encoded messages at the doorstep of a certain Haberdashery owner, who they’d been informed from a reliable source was fond of puzzles, they hadn’t expected someone else to find them first and take them incredibly seriously. Sebastian found himself assigned to keeping this new player out of their actual mission. However, he’d greatly underestimated her drive for answers and the stealth of his team’s actual encoded communications, which led Y/N directly into the line of fire for this plan. Literally. He got to witness when she showed up on the scene to confront the target Noble through the scope of his rifle. He’d scrambled to signal to the others that a civilian was now in danger and they needed to change the plan–before he could finish getting the message to Fred and Bond, however, the nobleman in question already had a knife to Y/N’s neck. One well-placed shot from Sebastian and a quick evacuation by Fred led to the induction of MI6’s first Cryptographer.
When He First Noticed Y/N: When Y/N was pinned by the nobleman, he’d assumed she would be terrified. To Moran’s surprise, the expression he saw on her face through his scope was one of fearless resolve. She’d figured out the despicable acts committed by the target and had been fully prepared to die in order to right those wrongs, just like the people who had dedicated themselves to William’s plans. Moran saw a kindred spirit with fire in her eyes–that’s what made him bring her to William.
When He Realized He Had Feelings For Y/N: He’d known he had quite the soft spot for the cryptographer due to the time he’d spent observing her–that’s why he brought Y/N back to the Moriarty Manor instead of simply allowing her to return to the life of a normal civilian. He certainly hadn’t expected it to develop past that point, assuming that the interest would stay purely platonic. However, as time went on, he found himself flirting less and less with the strangers he’d find in the bars, with each half-hearted advance causing his heart to twist in an unfamiliar way. Still, it wasn’t until Bonde casually mentioned that Moran had made quite the habit of hanging around the cryptographer’s office after missions that he thought maybe something was up.
When Y/N Realized They Had Feelings For Him: She’d initially despised Moran–not because of anything he’d done to her, of course. It was more his lack of initiative and helpfulness around the class. He seemed like nothing but a lazy slob who preferred to spend as much time as possible drunk and in the company of various women. That image of him remained with Y/N until she was needed for a field mission and got to witness the Colonel in action. She’d known he was competent, sure, but the stories the others told could never really capture the deadly accuracy of Moran’s shooting, his unwavering loyalty to his team and William’s plan, and the often-foolish bravery found in all of his actions. After that, Y/N had spent weeks trying to convince herself that she still viewed Moran the same–it ultimately failed.
Who Confessed And How: Moran’s never been one for subtlety. After testing the waters a few times with her to make sure his advances weren’t unwelcome, Sebastian invited Y/N out with him for the evening. Unfortunately, he discovered he hadn’t made it clear that he’d meant it to be a date. When he showed up at the cryptographer’s office all cleaned up, wearing his best clothes and bearing flowers, she’d greeted him still in her work clothes, prominent ink stains visible on skin and cloth and visible confusion on her face.
“Why are you all dressed up? And are those flowers from Fred’s prized rose bush? You know he’ll be upset when he finds out!”
“I asked Fred for ‘em–thought that’s what you were s’posed to do when y’were tryin’ to court someone!”
“Trying to what!?”
It was an unconventional way for Moran to reveal his feelings–he’d hoped to get a few drinks into his system before making the declaration–but Y/N’s enthusiastic reciprocation made it all worth it for him.
Louis Moriarty
How They Met: Louis stood in on William’s meeting with the prospect Moran had dragged back with him. He didn’t trust her in the slightest, keeping a firm grip on the knife concealed behind his back, ready to move to his brother’s defense at the first sign of danger. However, he had to admit that she seemed competent, though not quite as good as his brother, and Louis had often worried about how many facets of the plan rested on William alone. If his brother seemed to trust this person and her services could relieve William of part of his workload, Louis would allow her to live.
When He First Noticed Y/N: He’d dubbed himself as Y/N’s evaluator, taking notes of all her actions and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. After all, no one would simply be that friendly to him without a good reason. Louis begrudgingly allowed her to assist him with meal preparations after confirming that Y/N didn’t have any poison hidden on her person, though he still handled all of William’s food on his own. Once his suspicions died down, he found himself enjoying the cryptographer’s company–no one besides his brother had ever gone so out of their way for him before. It felt… nice.
When He Realized He Had Feelings For Y/N: William and Y/N had both been out on a field mission–Louis was worried, just as he usually was whenever William was in potential danger. However, when Fred told him that someone had been hurt, he vaguely registered in his panic that it wasn’t just William he was worried for. This realization was confirmed when he saw his brother, completely unscathed, arguing with the bloodied cryptographer in an attempt to get her to sit still until Louis could stitch up whatever injury she’d received. It took all of his willpower to stop his hands from shaking as he tended to her wounds–the relief that her injuries were easily treated, combined with the sheer shock of discovering that his heart had room for someone besides his brothers, was enough to send his normally calm mind reeling.
When Y/N Realized They Had Feelings For Him: Y/N wasn’t quite sure why she felt such a need to make a good impression on the youngest of the Moriarty brothers. She could tell that he didn’t trust her, even though the rest of the team was welcoming. That’s how the cryptographer found herself following Louis around like a lost puppy, eager to help him with all of his tasks in order to prove to him that she wasn’t a threat. As Y/N spent more time with Louis, she grew to admire his work ethic, his unwavering loyalty, and his quiet intelligence, with this admiration only driving her to work harder to get into his good graces. The realization of why his opinion mattered so much to her, however, came when her heart sped up the first time he complimented their cooking. The sudden giddiness and lightheadedness that accompanied his off-hand praise of her to William caused Y/N to choke on her drink, much to the cryptographer’s embarrassment.
Who Confessed And How: The shaking of Louis’s hands as he attempted to stitch up her injury was what gave him away, ultimately. Much to his chagrin, Y/N took his nervous shaking as illness, which caused her to start trying to make him go rest. She insisted she was more than capable of finishing the stitches herself.
“Louis, if you’re feeling unwell, please go rest. I can finish this up on my own–there’s no need for you to stress yourself on my account.”
“I’m perfectly fine to continue–unless my shaking is causing you pain, of course. I simply have a tendency towards nerves when someone dear to me has been hurt.”
The words had tumbled out before he could stop them, something he was not used to, and caused him to tense up in preparation for rejection. However, when Y/N reassured him that the feeling was mutual, he allowed himself to relax enough to start planning his next moves. Any courtship, he knew, would have to be rather unconventional due to their lines of work, but he’d never been one for leading a conventional life.
Fred Porlock
How They Met: Fred hadn’t had to cross paths with the nosy civilian who’d interrupted the original mission. Since his skills in disguise and acting were particularly needed, that honor fell to Moran. Fred had seen her as nothing but an annoyance, the flaw in an otherwise perfect plan. However, when Moran signaled for someone to get Y/N out after their target was killed, Fred didn’t hesitate to grab her by the hand and drag her after him. Unfortunately, that would be his only interaction with the new cryptographer until a few weeks later when she cornered him, adamant at properly introducing herself to her rescuer.
When He First Noticed Y/N: The fact that Y/N had cared enough to track him down and thank him for his help left a big impression on Fred. After all, he’d grown used to not receiving recognition for his actions outside of William and the rest of the team who he’d known and worked alongside for years. That sincerity and kindness were what drove him to put in serious effort to get to know the cryptographer. It also helped that she was more willing to contribute to the housework than Moran was–Fred especially appreciated having someone to help him in the garden.
When He Realized He Had Feelings For Y/N: It was during one of the missions where Y/N had to accompany them, leaving the safety of the house. She still wasn’t used to fieldwork and made an amateur mistake, not enough to ruin the plan but still enough to put her in danger. Fred had immediately dropped his part of the mission to run to Y/N’s aid, despite Moran’s orders to the contrary. The panic that he’d felt when he knew she was in trouble was what finally put all the pieces into place for him.
When Y/N Realized They Had Feelings For Him: For Y/N, developing feelings for Fred was less of an “if” possibility and more of a waiting game until “when”. She’d immediately taken a liking to the quietest of her new teammates, going out of her way to spend extra time in his presence, whether that be helping him with his chores or learning how to assist him in the gardens. However, Y/N didn’t realize how deep she was in until she broke a plate after Fred’s hand accidentally brushed against hers as he went to take it from her while helping clean up dinner.
Who Confessed And How: Moran did it. He got tired of watching the two dance around each other awkwardly and Fred seemed to reject all of his brilliant advice on how to woo someone. The moment was far from romantic, with Moran dragging Fred by the collar of his shirt and unceremoniously dumped him in front of the cryptographer’s desk.
“Sort out how you two feel already. I’m tired of yer starcrossed lovers, stolen glances bullshit.”
Fred would have preferred to make his declaration on his own time, ideally with a planned speech and some flowers. However, it did work, much to his surprise and delight.
James Bonde
How They Met: Bonde had met up with Fred after he extracted Y/N from the scene of the crime. He’d been the most friendly of her rescuers, introducing himself politely and placing a gallant kiss on the back of her hand. After all, James always liked to make a good impression, especially on pretty girls. He was also the one to explain exactly what Y/N had gotten herself into, and the person who offered to help her settle in after William decided the cryptographer would be joining them.
When He First Noticed Y/N: Immediately. James’s type is pretty, intelligent, and capable, and Y/N checked all of those boxes. He knew better than to press her with any flirtation off the bat, instead focusing on building up a proper friendship with her and getting to know her as a person. He was a frequent visitor to the cryptographer’s office, often insisting on being the one to bring her instructions from William, and he’d always offer to be her guard during field missions.
When He Realized He Had Feelings For Y/N: Bonde knew he was smitten the first time Y/N responded to one of his flirts with her own. After all, it takes more than a pretty face to get him to fall. Once he’d established that they had chemistry, he’d be more forward with his advances towards her. Unlike Moran, however, his focus would be on charming and romancing his target. Flowers on her desks, little gifts in front of her door, and going out of his way to be a gentleman in front of her, et cetera. However, he made sure to leave no doubt that his intentions were genuine–he’d want Y/N to know that, if she was interested in him, he’d happily be hers.
When Y/N Realized They Had Feelings For Him: She’d been flattered by his flirtations–after all, who wouldn’t be when showered with attention from an attractive man? However, it wasn’t until she started noticing that his actions were giving her butterflies that Y/N started earnestly trying to learn if he was being genuine. She knew Moran was a scoundrel only interested in getting her into bed, but something about James made her trust that he was after more than that. That confidence allowed her to firmly decide that she reciprocated his feelings.
Who Confessed And How: Bonde left a rose and a handwritten note inviting her to dinner with him on Y/N’s desk once he was certain she would be comfortable with the offer. When he came by her room to pick her up, he was stunned by how beautiful she looked with her nervous smile and simple dress clothes. He immediately told her that, with his praise for her continuing well into their evening together.
“Your beauty is always so effortless, my dear. Until tonight, I thought nothing could improve it. Now I’d do anything to keep that smile on your face directed at me~”
James’s smooth-talking and charming nature net him a second date, then a third, until finally developing their relationship into a passionate courtship.
Von Herder
How They Met: Y/N was sent over to his workshop to pick up some technology William had requested specifically for her work. Of course, William had neglected to inform Herder of her impending arrival and Y/N of Herder’s blindness, which led to Herder assuming the unfamiliar footsteps belonged to an intruder. He found his mistake rather embarrassing, but still welcomed Y/N enthusiastically after offering a sheepish apology. It only took a few moments to completely forget his embarrassment, however, as he excitedly launched into an explanation of the inventions she’d been sent to pick up.
When He First Noticed Y/N: Unlike everyone else, Herder wouldn’t have a specific moment where he started seeing Y/N in a more complex light. He doesn’t often give his attention to things outside of his work unless given a compelling reason to.
When He Realized He Had Feelings For Y/N: Herder found himself actively anticipating visits from Y/N much quicker than he thought he would. When she came by, he’d make an actual effort to engage in conversation with her, even starting to keep things to make tea in his workshop just in case she stopped by. He initially brushed it off as simply being happy to have a new person to listen to his ideas, but that changed when he realized that the sound of her footsteps gave him butterflies. Unfortunately, Herder had never really dedicated time and energy to romantic pursuits, so the outcome of this discovery was an increase in his nervous energy. He’d ramble at top-speed until he started tripping over his words–it would have embarrassed him more if he didn’t find her laughs so enchanting.
When Y/N Realized They Had Feelings For Him: Y/N had initially found Herder kind of odd in an endearing way. He was incredibly intelligent and passionate about his work, but she could also tell that he was a bit lonely. Herder had almost no reasons to leave the workshop, and he only received visitors to pick up his inventions. She initially started visiting more often and staying longer out of pity, but it eventually became something she greatly enjoyed. One day, however, while the two were having tea together, she found herself simply staring at the eccentric man as he talked, a soft smile on her face and a warm feeling in her heart, instead of focusing on his words. When she realized he’d obviously asked her a question and is waiting for a response, she was incredibly glad that he can’t see her flustered expression, feigning fatigue from an early mission to excuse her rudeness.
Who Confessed And How: Y/N tried her hardest to subtly hint to him that she had feelings for him. Then she tried being obvious, bringing him small gifts, making more physical contact, and being more affectionate with his words. Unfortunately, his genius did not extend to the realms of flirting or courtship, leaving him oblivious to her advances while moping over his inability to tell her how he felt. Y/N’s frustration finally reaches a boiling point during one visit that she’d made specifically on her day off with no requests from William for Herder to fulfill.
“Herder, I like you. Do you like me?”
“Well of course I like you, Y/N– I mean, not in any improper manner. I’d never want to make you uncomfortable like that, and I know I’m not– Mmph!”
Occasionally, the best way to get something through to a genius is to be direct, and cutting him off with a kiss definitely did the job. Y/N now has a pet inventor dedicated to keeping her safe–after all, dangerous inventions are Herder’s love language.
Whew, that was kinda longer than I meant it to be, but also incredibly fun. Please, please request more like this if you like my writing, or even just send me asks about Yuukoku no Moriarty! I love talking about things I'm into (it's the autism). Also, even though this one is a female reader, I tend to do gender neutral but am also willing to go with any gender or pronouns requested <3
Ok,ok so it’s gonna be my birthday tomorrow and I was wondering on how the obey me brothers react to finding out that mc dose not want anything for their birthday.
(You can write it as small as possible if you wished to go faster)
Happy early birthday, my dear! I'm happy to write this one for you. Let's jump into it.
Lucifer:
He takes this as a personal challenge--oh, his human doesn't want anything for their birthday? But what about this absolutely incredible thing that he found by accident (or totally on purpose after scouring Akuzon and shops using his knowledge of MC).
He takes pride in spoiling MC and knowing them better than anyone else, so of course this is going to be important to him. If he can't find something perfect, he'll go with a simple piece of jewelry that will remind them of him and a date to a fancy restaurant with some intimate time afterwards--he's a busy demon, so having time alone with him is a big deal.
Mammon:
Mammon also takes this as a challenge, but in a different way. MC will find themselves on a shopping trip across Devildom on Mammon's dime--if they so much as look at something, he's going to get it for them.
It's his excuse to take MC out on a date, really. He'll want to hold their hand while he showers them in gifts. After all, that's his love language.
Leviathan:
Levi is gonna be better at this than most of the other brothers. Instead of trying to get them a gift anyway, he'll set aside a day to do whatever MC wants to do. A new video game that they wanted to play but thought he wouldn't be interested in? He'll be their player 2 as long as they'd like. An anime that isn't normally his thing but they love it? Time for a marathon.
He'll get jealous over the gifts given to them, but he'll also take some pride in having actually followed MC's request. Plus, any time alone with them is good in his eyes--it allows him to be more affectionate with them.
Satan:
His first response was to get MC a kitten. That didn't pan out since Lucifer said no. His next idea was to put together a few books that he loved and thought MC would like. He doesn't just find them new, however--he goes through used bookstores, finding leatherbound copies with that beautiful old book smell before hiding pressed flowers and little notes between the pages.
Listen I have nothing else to put here, Satan is a romantic, I've declared it so.
Asmodeus:
MC doesn't want anything for their birthday? That's perfectly fine with Asmo! He'll plan some special time with just the two of them instead--A spa day! MC deserves to be treated like royalty, after all, and living with seven rambunctious demons isn't conducive to that.
He will buy any of the products they enjoyed--not for their birthday, of course, just because he knows they'll use it. Asmo also insists on being the one to paint their nails.
Beelzebub:
He's going to organize the best birthday dinner ever. No arguing, it's settled. Think twelve course meal with all MC's favorite Devildom foods and a massive cake with no less than six different flavors.
Beel wants to sit next to MC the whole meal so he can make sure they're enjoying the food. He'll even offer to feed some of it to MC--if they know that this is his love language and accept it, he'll be incredibly happy.
Belphegor:
Good, good, he's out of gifts. Belphie's already used his one big gift, himself, so he needed the break. How about a nap day with him? They can play hooky in the attic--he even got Lucifer's permission to skip a day of school for it.
He'll give very good cuddles, focusing on MC's comfort for once. This is their birthday present, after all. A long, peaceful nap with the most beautiful dreams.
I was thinking about my OC who's a single father and was wondering if you had my thoughts on what the Demon bros or Dateables would be like with helping out with looking after a small human (like 0-2 years old if you're comfy with that) because I'm a sucker for cozy domestic-type stuff and figured I'd send in an ask to share thoughts at least 👉👈
- 🌸👑 anon (^w^)
Aw hell yeah, I love domestic stuff and also men who are good with kids. Let’s get into this, Flower Crown Anon! Lemme know if you want a Dateables version! <3
Lucifer is the ultimate parenting machine. He’s not really going to be the most fun one, but he’s an expert at diaper changes, feeding and burping babies, and soothing toddler meltdowns. If MC needs a break, there’s no one more capable to leave their children with. Just make sure one of the other brothers is present for entertainment.
Mammon, oddly enough, is the second most skilled with technical child-watching skills. However, he’s the most likely to be willing to make a fool of himself in order to keep the children laughing. Mammon is the brother for piggyback rides, hide and seek, peek-a-boo, and those funny little rhymes you say when you bounce a baby on your knee. Just don’t let him take the kids out alone because he will make them his partners in a money-making scheme.
Levi isn’t quite one for children, but he will break out his most child-friendly anime and, as long as they’re clean, he might even let them play with some of his sturdier collectables. Also, the fish tank in his room is an easy way to entertain babies. All in all, he’s not the best with babies, but he’ll try.
Satan is Mr. Storytime. He will read to the kids whenever they want. He makes sure to not be around them when his temper is flaring and will usually hand them off to another brother during tantrums. However, he’s one of the best to have around during bedtime, since he doesn’t mind reading bedtime story after bedtime story until the little ones are fast asleep.
Asmo wants to dress up the kids. He will buy them so many clothes and coo over how cute they look. With MC’s permission, he’ll start a social media account for the babies and their stylish looks. Unfortunately, he isn’t one for the messier sides of parenting. Probably the least helpful.
Beel is the best a mealtimes. He’ll be able to tell when the babies are hungry and find the best baby foods for each. Once they’re on solids, he’ll also give them the human-safe parts of his food to try. He just wants to make sure they’re always happy, full babies. He’s afraid to hold them because of how tiny they are, but if MC helps him get past that he can carry so many kids at once. Let him carry all of them.
Belphie is the king of naptimes. He can get the babies to sleep no matter how cranky they are. Cuddle piles are frequent--MC will often find him curled up around the babies with all parties involved peacefully snoozing away. Just don’t let him get away with cutting class for said naps.
