His stomach lurched, but he didn't know why. These halls felt familiar to him, as though he was retracing steps he'd taken in another life, following the path of a ghost. He placed a hand to the large doors leading to the throne room. His motioned stopped and something in the back of his mind screamed at him to turn away and not look back. Brows furrowing, he pushed the door open and stepped halfway in, looking about the room,
Dethl was sitting on his throne, with on leg crossed over the other. He was intensely staring into a black crystal orb which was floating in front of him. Absentmindedly, he tapped his finger on his armrest. There was something he was looking for, but he definitely hadn’t found it yet. The demon was pulled from his deep thought when he heard the door of the throne room open slightly. He could not see who it was, but assumed it was a servant or one of his contractors. “You may enter.” he stated.
