Crush: A brief but intense infatuation for someone.
Or at least that's what his friend had told him.
Everything was ready. He was a bit nervous, even if he had dated many girls before. They all sighed and swooned for him. He knew how to make them want him.
So...why was she so different? He didn't understand.
Maybe it was how much more graceful and elegant she was, or maybe it was her looks....maybe her eyes. Her green eyes that shined with deep experience. She always looked at him knowingly....like she knew things he didn't even realize yet.
Yet, she also looked so....sad. It was rather bewildering how no one else seemed to notice. Or maybe they did and chose to ignore it.
How could they do something like that? Her smile is one of the things that could melt off all the ice at the northern region. It was beautiful.
All those stallions she lured back home. How could they not see it when they tangled really close together, so intimately and-
But before long, she appeared.
She left him breathless. So much that the only thing that came out of his mouth when he spoke was:
"Y-ye're so beautiful...."
It was a genuine response. Nothing was prepared or rehearsed. And it would seem she found it to be charming enough that she giggled lightly.
He felt his legs go weak, but tried his best to hold on. He had to.
So he used all his strength to do what he always did during dates....charm em until they couldn't take it anymore.
He sat down back at his chair and winked confidently at her. But she giggled again and he felt his bravado falter.
He tried everything. Smirks, winks, using his cocky, charming personality and even his smooth and sleek voice. But every single flirty line was completely outdone by her.
By gods every word she let out made him fluster more and more.
He was loosing....but he liked it. What's even more it lighted a fire in him. He wanted to beat her at this game more than anything. It'd be so much fun.
When he eyed her time stood still. He could see her lips move slowly....those soft lips that drove him insane. She saw him mouth his name, but he wasn't paying attention. He was entranced with her lips curving ever so softly into a sweet, elegant smile.
Was this just mere fondness? Devotion?...Love?
He didn't know, but there was one thing he knew for sure.He wasn't stupid and knew her nickname perfectly well.
This would be torture....the worst. But....
But he'd let her lure him in and drown him slowly for a glimpse of that smile to be directed at him just one more time.
