Hey, I know most people have given up on Canon Stevidot because of Matt Burnett's tweet, but I don't think it's washed out and here's why: After looking at it again, Burnett worded it in a way that didn't seem serious or confirming anything. And also: This is the same Matt Burnett who tweeted that Garnet WASN'T a fusion. Don't give up on it yet, my friend.

I agree with you, my friend. These people still don't seem to get: It's not law to ship Steven with only Connie and it's not law to only ship Lars with Sadie. Hell, I ship Stevidot, Stevethyst AND Stapis proudly! And I even heard that Kimberly Brooks(Jasper's VA) ships Jaspiven(JasperXSteven). So what? Are these toxic fans who act like they're the shipping law enforcement gonna bash Ms Brooks, a VA on the show?
I like to call these people “The Fandom Police”, because that’s pretty much what they are.

I don't like her either, so you're not alone, my friend. I think she's gotten boring and has become a brat the more the show goes on. Honestly, Connverse is pretty much dead at this point because Steven just sees her as a friend/sister.
Oh I figured there were more out there who didn’t like her anymore. Unless they do something absolutely brilliant with her character in the seasons beyond, I will just continue to see her as a side character from here on out.
They’ve tried to make her more important than she is in the last few seasons, but it just doesn’t work anymore. The only important thing she’s done (besides moving the plot along in some small ways here and there) was in the season 5 finale.
Yeah, Connverse is pretty much dead at this point. After “Steven’s Birthday”, it’s like they just gave up on it, which is fine with me.
