I’m obviously on an indefinite hiatus, my personal life has become overwhelming. If it ever calms down (which I hope it will soon), then I’ll more than likely make this blog an archive to Genna’s old storylines and start over. The overall direction I was going with her just wasn’t.... fun for me anymore.

I still have hopes to come back and run her blog and Guzma’s and Kay’s, but for now things are up in the air. You can still find me on my personal blog, and commissions are open at the moment!

With a huff she stumbled inside, wiping away the sweat from her brow as she moved forward. The cool air being pumped into the building felt amazing on her skin. She walked around for a few moments fumbling with a few coins in her pocket, licking her lips as she stared at the food.

How long has it been since she had a proper meal? A week? Two? Her fingers wrapped around the single pokeball in her pocket, stroking over the dent. Swallowing heard she peeked up for a quick moment looking to her sides to make sure no one was around.

Reaching out she grabbed a few small bags moving as to stuff them under her hoodie, her stomach growled at the prospect.

“Hey! What are you doing?!”

Fuck.

Flinching she looked to her side seeing the man that once stood behind the counter barreling her way. She freaked out dropping the bags to turn in her heel, running for the exit. A customer tried to stop her but she merely pushed them out of her way before slipping out.

Her heart was hammering in her chest as she rounded the corner hiding behind a dumpster. Sliding down the wall she pulled her knees to her chest, a lump forming in her throat as her stomach painfully growled at her once more.

Tears built up in her eyes as she sniffled softly, a small sob managing its way past her lips. At this point she needed to reveal herself or die from starvation. She pulled out her pokeball looking at the object before she hiccuped, tears rolling down her cheeks.

This is fine here! It’s horror-related, so I accept it. :) 

If we’re talking just horror in general, I’ve been going on once-annual trips every year since 2012, I think, and each time we visit some sort of spooky or haunted location (sometimes multiple). So far we’ve seen Waverly Hills, Gettysburg, Trans-Allegheny Asylum, Eastern State Penitentiary, but I think my favorite scary place I’ve been to was Salem, Massachusetts. 

The experience itself wasn’t exactly ‘scary’ in that anything spooky happened there, but the town’s “365 Day Halloween” vibe is fucking incredible. We went on a late night tour about town with a group of witches, and it was just amazing to see so many wonderfully spooky, and incredibly friendly people all over the place. Everyone is so learned in the history, but there seemed to be a universal sense of humor as well, which was so welcoming and fun. 

Of course there were solemn moments where we were kind and respectful to our surroundings, and folks were forming circles for spellcasting in the colonial graveyard and we saw flowers placed on the stone bench memorials and all. It was beautiful, and spending time and exploring town with so many fascinating people was just amazing. It was one of the few places I’ve been where I missed it as soon as we left. It’s been about two years and I still think constantly that I just want to be in Salem again and hang out by the cold, windy-ass ocean and mingle with the spooks. 

Heckin YEAH, this calls for a gotdamn celebration.

It is in the past, after all, that I had those things.
