(ask-byul) jinyoung@nat: hey, i think i recognize you from the alola hall of fame... and the sinnoh one, too. you must be a pretty skilled trainer, but why stop there? any interest in challenging the other leagues?
My friend-and my rival-still frequents Sinnoh, helping out the league and such. He gets first notice of things such as tournaments, and was just telling me about a general tournament happening in Sinnoh in the future. And honestly...I think I might be going this time around, try to make it a consistent thing to get back into it. I'm starting to miss battling like that now that I've had a proper break, and it's far too early to retire my dragons like that. They deserve a lot more than the few seasons we've had.
Aside a multitude of things, one of the biggest factors in me stopping was that I was horribly anxious to battle-and even more anxious when I lost. I was a pretty young champion in Sinnoh, one of the youngest. I would get overwhelmed at pressure from all sides, and couldn't really get a proper outlet or break to control it. I'd actually pass out before and after matches from how worked up I was, it was not a good spot to be in.
As for other leagues...I'm not too sure honestly. Maybe I end up taking on Galar, when I'm ready to go there. Or the Indigo League...but that feels a bit ambitious-being a champion of two regions like Kanto and Johto.
