1. Afterglow - just written for @cruelsummer-ficfest (there is so much good stuff in this fest you guys for real)

2. Finally - I actually kind of love this rare pair fic that I wrote for iwsc last year probably because I gave Terry and Padma all the romione vibes

3. Still Searching - y’all this is my Everest and I will finish it one day 😅 (there may be an update soonish but you didn’t hear that from me shhhhh 🤫😉)

4. Partners in Crime (series) - there’s a new installment of this in the works too and wow I’m just spilling all my secrets today 😜

I am going about this answer assuming you are a pureblood. If I am mistaken, do correct me, as my advice would be slightly different in that respect. 

He is a Slytherin, so this is good. Slytherin is a fine house, meaning he is of fine character. However, a mudblood, truly? Are you certain? Perhaps you should do some genealogy research - Slytherin house is generally not a place for mudbloods. However, even if you were to find something redemptive he would be a half blood at best - meaning you must consider your long term plans with this young man. If you are looking for a fling, nothing more, then a half blood would be perfectly acceptable, but if you are at an age in which you are considering you post-hogwarts plans and a future... Is your family strict about whom you marry? How would a half-blood be received? Would you personally be alright with bearing children who are not pureblooded?

It’s RB so prepare to have your heart broken along the way 😉 but this Muggle AU has very similar vibes to one of my favorite non-HP books Love, Rosie AND she’s rewriting the entire fic from Ron’s POV because she is a literal writing machine.

Ten Years by @cheesyficwriter

Also super angsty but so very worth it in the end! Romione not getting their shit together immediately post war is one of my favorite tropes to read and cheese delivers with this fic!

Change Your Mind by @accio-broom

Where to even begin with this one? Rom-com goodness: check. Ron and Hermione being our favorite canon idiots in love in an au setting? Check. And the sexy times are 🔥

Undercover - Ron and Hermione go undercover at a couple’s resort. WIP.

Still Searching - Canon divergent AU where Hermione leaves the Horcrux hunt with Ron. WIP.

It’s A… - Ron has a special talent for answering the age-old baby question: boy or girl? One-shot.

The Romione Trap - Based on my all time favorite movie The Parent Trap. Ron and Hermione’s estranged twins meet for the first time at Beauxbatons. Matchmaking and shenanigans ensue. Complete.

3rd Year Going on 30 - Rom-ione-com adaptation of 13 Going on 30. The Time-Turner transports Hermione 16 years into the future. Complete.

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I DON’T and after reading everyone else’s answers, I feel like a garbage human about it. 🙈 I started my fanfic journey on ffn, which is much less conducive to replying to comments than ao3. I also don’t have the expectation of a reply to comments I leave for others, so I never really thought about it.

Please know that I read and appreciate every comment I receive! I hope I’ve not upset anyone by my lack of response, and I’ll try to do better 💕

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Nothing really ends angsty, but I’ve written some angsty post-war one-shots. Waves, Shots, and ‘tis the damn season come to mind.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

I think all of my fics have happy endings (if they have an ending yet, lol) but 3rd Year probably takes top prize for tooth-rotting fluff.

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Only if rom-ione-coms count.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

There are definitely some Hermione-haters lurking in the fandom, but I’ve never received anything too awful.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes, sparingly. And nothing terribly explicit.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Thankfully, no. Do people really do that? Ugh.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not that I know of. I’ve thought about doing one of my own to kick the rust off my French, but if that ever happens, it probably won’t make it out of my google docs.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope, but I’d be open to it!

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I’m not involved in fandom other than HP so I don’t really ship anyone but Romione, or at least not at the same level.

Some other favorite couples though: Monica x Chandler from Friends. Castle x Beckett from Castle. Haley x Nathan from OTH. And (I’m really showing my age here lmao) but I’ve been bingeing Hey Dude on Paramount+ and remembering how much I loved Ted x Brad as a kid - my love of the bickering=flirting trope runs deep, you guys.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Everything that is currently incomplete feels daunting, but I do plan to finish them all. Eventually.

What are your writing strengths?

I think I’m good at dialogue, and I’m told I have strong characterizations. I’ve also been known to drop a good cliffhanger. 😉

What are your writing weaknesses?

PLOT. And outlining a plot. Also plot.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I can take it or leave it. I don’t want to have to throw half a fic in google translate, but if there are enough context clues for what’s included, I think it’s fine.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Uh. Well. I was cleaning out my closet at my parents’ house a few months ago and found some of my old writing notebooks, one of which included a Phoebe x Joey fic nothing interesting at all actually, forget I mentioned it.

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Oof, am I really supposed to pick just one? I think I’m proudest of Still Searching, even in its unfinished state, so I’ll go with that.
