1-5 things that make me happy: 1- Giant trees, especially the giant redwoods and sequoias of California. 2- Getting a new tattoo. The entire experience, picking one out, actually being tattooed, and the rush of pride and joy afterwards. 3-Making tamales, dancing in the kitchen while mixing masa and sorting hojas.  4-Painting 5-Trashy television, particularly really bad reality tv.

So, with all of the things I wrote about her, the fact that she didn't write Baby Mama is your only defense? As if that somehow absolves her of her actions? I'm sure she had absolutely no sway over a movie produced by her longtime friend and boss Lorne Michaels, and  directed and seemingly tailor written for her by former SNL co-worker Michael McCullers. She is but a humble cog in the great Hollywood Machine. She had to accept the role, and was powerless to affect change.

Listen, I'm aware that actors aren't their characters. I know that Sir Anthony Hopkins doesn't murder and eat people, nor does he approve of homicide and cannibalism. The difference, however, is that the character of Kate Holbrooke for all tense and purposes *is* Tina Fey, at least the image of herself that she has created within the public eye. It might as well be Liz Lemon hiring a surrogate with how faithfully it adheres to Fey's stylized version of herself.

I never said they were, but they are. The cultural appropriation from people of color by dominant white society is real. It's not a paranoid delusion, or unfounded. It's fact.

But, seriously, what the fuck does any of this have to do with my short 3 sentence post about Portland? Somewhere along the line y'all made this about acculturation and assimilation and it was completely off track of what I was originally saying. Like, calm the fuck down. Yer chonies are hella twisted, and you need to get over yourself. If I'm delusional and racist, why bother with me? Why come to my page, and spew your angry hate? If you are so just and correct, why hide behind anon?
