Most of my rant is actually captured in the video but I do still have a point or two he skipped over.

1.) The honey bees wouldn’t have stopped pollinating flowers or stopped producing honey when they won the rights to the honey (AKA no longer worked for a company) as they still would have had to make honey for the colony. Thus, the part of the movie where all the flowers wilted and the entirety of nature fell into decline is a lie (just like most of this annoying and terrible movie).

2.) He touched on the fact that the genders of most of the characters in the movie should be swapped but I kind of wanted to see him get into that more (I understand that that wasn’t the point of the video so he didn’t spend too much time on it). Female bees do literally all the work. Any time you see a bee with a ‘stinger’ that’s actually her ovipositor, the thing she uses to lay eggs. Now, only the queen bee is able to produce and lay eggs and her main job, besides making most of the hives decisions, is to make eggs. All worker bees are female. Any male bees (called ‘drones’) are only there to mate with the queen and bring her food. During the winter, all female bees hibernate while the male bees are typically pushed out of the hive (don’t quote me on that part) and left to die as they’re not needed at that point and are a waste of space.
