1 and 11 for the ask meme
If someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?
I had to think on this one for a bit! I decided on choices that were things I liked and expressed my interests, and things that were more connected to me as A Person.
Read: Friday Night Lights. I don’t even like football that much but this book was incredible. Also Harry Potter, for obvious reasons.
Watch: Dead Poets Society. Also Young Justice. (YJ is on Netflix if you’re interested)
Listen: Any Muse song tbh, but most especially Showbiz, from the album of the same name. Also listen to an audio book reading of the story of Sinbad the Sailor from 1001 Arabian Night’s, that guy’s life was a total t r i p.
My ideal day starts at midnight because ideally, I don’t ever need to sleep. I’m making art and I’m In The Zone and listening good music. Keep doing that until I feel like watching a movie. (At the moment, I’m still itching to see Moonlight, so probably that one) Then it’s morning, and I get to go outside and watch the sunrise. It’s mild outside, but I don’t feel cold. I see birds and the sky in gorgeous. Belgian waffles and really good scrambled eggs make for a great breakfast. I get to meet up with my favorite friends. We go to the park and run around on the grass and talk and laugh. There’s lots of cute dogs and on the way to one of my friends’ house, we see a cat. We sit on the couches and play a stupid movie and make snarky comments about it throughout the whole thing. I go home, and get to spend hours reading. I’m alone, and warm, and comfortable. I have dinner with my sisters (doesn’t matter which parent we’re having dinner with, as long as I’m with them) and our banter is 11/10. When we all go back to our rooms, I watch the sunset from the window and think about happy memories. Then I watch awesome and beautiful and hilarious videos for an hour, and I start reading about some weird science/history/cultural thing. I’m inspired again, so I start drawing again, and then it’s midnight.
Thanks for the ask! It was really fun thinking and writing all this
