1.) I do! He recruited me after seeing my fitness comics reposted throughout the net (mainly r/misc on the fitness subreddit, iirc). Since then, I’ve designed both of the shirts available in his store, and there should be at least one more on the way!
2.) /fit/ and the internet have warped my standards, so my most honest aspirations were/are probably something akin to a powerlifter who had dieted down:
However, as I’m ageing and trying to find balance in my hobbies/vocations, I realize that I just don’t have the resources or the priorities to try to look like that for its own sake. Now I’m just hoping that I can diet down and be reasonably healthy for as long as possible. I don’t have a specific appearance picture for comparison right now.
3.) I sure can! I keep having to look at my old comics for reference...
4. and 5.) Piggybacking off of question 2 - I have started looking into r/bodyweightfitness, both as an avenue to achieve my natty fitness goals and to avoid paying the gym fees that I can’t afford right now. It’s going to be a long while before I expect to have the income necessary to get a car and gym membership, so I might as well rough it like the pioneers did.
