"Yes, we are aware of all the fanart, and alternative versions of us. I even met another one of me a long time ago, actually. But I'm not too keen on getting involved in that kind of stuff, there's a lot of problems that could arise with me meddling in the matters of another universe."

"Awww man! Do I love seeing how many possibilities there are! There's so many cool alternative universes! Master always said that anything and everything was possible, and that just once small choice could lead you down a road of infinite possibilities! Though uh-"

"I kinda, well agree with Macaque, here. Some Universes are amazing, while others... uh... not so much. You have to be careful of what you do or don't do. Otherwise, you might go down a destructive road, and well, I know all about that. Anyways, there's some amazing Universes out there, and some that are well, not so good I think. But uh, enough about that-"

"I like the sketch you did! Even if it's not finished! You can still figure out what's going on by looking at it. I hope one day you feel called to finish it, though. I'm curious to see what it would look like all done!"

"I actually sill have it, somewhere. I'll have to go dig it up! But, anyways, Macaque is actually the one obsessed with that sorta thing. He has the BIGGEST gemstone and rock collection I've ever seen!"

"It's like, as big as my Mountain is tall! It's underneath his main cave on the mountain, in a huge cavern, he keeps it lit up with these shadow lanterns, and he loves spending a lot of time down there in the gemstone cave! Heck, he even has a nest down there! He just really loves his rocks, I don't know what to tell you! He seems to have a surplus of sunstones, actually... uh..."

"It kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, cuz like, maybe the stones remind him of me? Uh, maybe I'm looking too much into it, but that's just what it seems like."

"I do have a soft for pebbles, though! They're so round, and small and cuteeeee! Especially pebbles that have little sparkles and speckles! They're so smooth and fun to skip across the surface of the ocean!"

"My favorite stone, huh?"

"Hard feelings? Now why would I have hard feelings about the Pilgrims?"

"Initially when I came across them and watched them do nothing as Wukong's Master used that damn circlet on his head, I saw red. After my death and then revival, I felt anger and hatred towards them, for a long time."

"But, well, that's all in the past, water under the bridge, it's been long enough that I've come to terms with some things. Anyways, I've long since worked out my own feelings towards them, and they didn't do me any wrong, and Wukong and I were friends with Ao Lie even before the Journey. I still haven't forgiven the Monk for using the circlet on Wukong, but I've long since let go of my anger towards him. Besides if Wukong's master was anything like Glasses is, well, he couldn't have been all bad, right?"

"As for the Diyu? Well, when a soul goes to the Diyu they enter a maze to be judged for their Earthly sins. Which if you don't know, I must have committed lifetimes of sins during my first life. Well, after that you undergo torture, and then finally once you've been judged, you are then permitted to drink the Soup Of Forgetfulness to be reincarnated."

"You can guess, that since I was resurrected instead of reincarnated, that the path I chose was a hellish nightmare come to life. I just couldn't let go of my past life; I guess. Too full of hate and bitterness, too resentful to just move on and let myself find peace. Which means I underwent centuries of the same cycle, over and over."

did you ever get your shadow lantern back or is it just…gone? LBD used it for her giant mech so it’s probably lost forever

you said you still preform at the theatre to pay the bills but how can you do that if you have no lantern?

"Oh, that old thing? Yeah no, it's busted. Scattered to the sands and the winds. Gone."

"Listen, I never needed that lantern to actually do shadow plays! I've always been able to manipulate shadows to create visuals and what not on my own merits. I uhh..."

"I uh... I only used it during the show to trap, Glasses, The Pig and the Dragon Girl inside it and use them to teach the Kid a lesson, and to gauge him on if he was ready for the Lady Bone Demon."

"You know, now that I actually talk about it and look back on it, yeah that was uh, well it was kind of a rotten thing to do to the Kid and the others."

"Anyways, that lantern it was a conduit of sorts you could say. A conductor, if you will. A means in which I could channel my powers into and use them if I was running low on magical energy, essentially a contingency, if I was in a tough situation."

Does Macaque still do shadow plays?

What was the most surprising part of modern life? Is their something you really didn't expect to be invented?

"Mhnnn, actually, never really thought about how it felt before. I mean, it's always come naturally to me, using my shadows to shape-shift. I'm essentially a shapeshifting shadow by nature, so I can be anyone or anything."

"You ever feel like you're floating, right before you fall asleep, like you're drifting away from your physical form? I guess that's the best way to describe it. I feel my mass melt away like snow on the first day of spring, and become liquified, and I'm floating. I feel like I'm everywhere and nowhere at once, like I'm transitioning through a void, breaking down and forming into something new. It doesn't hurt, if that's what you're asking."

"Only time a transformation should hurt is if you're being forced into it. If it hurts to transform any other time, well you're either doing it wrong, your magic energy is too depleted, or it's been sealed away, or stolen, you're sick or you're probably dyin."

"Also, the evolution of FIREWORKS in the modern era. They've GOT to be the WORST invention that humanity has EVER made. They're WAY too loud, for one and for two they disrupt nature! When they explode, they release a ton of toxic chemicals, harmful gases, and other such things into the air, like plastics and chemicals. Which can then settle into the soil or seep into water, which can hurt plant, people, and animals alike."

"Not to be a killjoy, but they're among one of the worst things, and they were in their infancy back when I was alive, when they were still using bamboo stalks for them. At the very least they weren't as loud and destructive back then. Those ones left nothing behind except wood particles."
