This is actually a top tier question. The answer is: ABSOLUTELY! It’s gonna be hard to choose honestly. Long post incoming

First are outfits I genuinely like. I’m a sucker for a flannel/button ups over a shirt with jeans. Very gender. I’m also a sucker for those type of striped shirts and that color combo.

The one with Preston is a favorite that I wouldn’t wear myself. I just like it’s vibe. I also like bomber jackets. The triple layers actually work here (in my opinion).

The baseball jersey one is notable as it was when Bart lost his powers during a Flash event and Max was sick. It’ll always have a sad tinge to it but I still like it. Not sure why he’s wearing a New York Yankees jersey though. Show some hometown pride, Bart.

Next are these 4. First is more of pajamas but I find it to funny not to include. A giant orange tank top that ends right above his knees. 10/10

Next is the outfit he wore as a disguise in Young Justice. I know they’re supposed to look dumb but I still count it. Few people can pull off that look and Bart isn’t one of them. Not sure who those “few people” are but eh.

I had to include Bart’s iconic first day of school outfit. I’m not sure what Ramos’ thought process was here. A lime green turtle neck with a tucked in baseball jersey? Well it was the 90’s. Can’t see it here but I only just realized on a reread that he’s wearing red and white shoes with this outfit.

Then we have another iconic outfit from when he gets the entire school to fight each other. Mostly because I dunno what the thing over his shirt is supposed to be. I’m pretty sure it’s a real thing but it looks goofy.

Lastly we have my all time favorite civilian Bart Allen outfit:

All the Young Justice kids should be at least 20 in my view. If anyone deserves to grow up it’s them.

I’m very much for Bart being between 19-21. The only hiccup is that DC is so instant in treating him and drawing him like a teen. I’m all for a short king but it feels like he’s younger than Ace at times.

So yeah I do like the idea of Bart being 19. Though I think 20 would be better but I guess it doesn’t make too much of a difference. Maybe it’s cause I’m 20 but I’d like to see it explored how he’s no longer a teen hero anymore and what it’s like to be him navigating more independence.

Kind of? Jason is really against the idea of letting Ty into that life. He’s in a rough point of “I need him to be able to defend himself to the best of his abilities” and “I don’t want him going out in tights and using what I taught him to get himself killed”

Dick still hadn’t fully wrapped his head around the fact that Wally and Roy have kids. Dude is dumbstruck when he learns Jason now has a kid.

I mean, this is his little brother! Dick doesn’t care that Jason is bigger than him now he still remembers being able to carry Jay on his shoulders. He isn’t sure how to feel about any of it. Though it honestly makes him a little sad. It makes him realize he really didn’t get to see Jason grow up. He thought he’d realized that already. Accepted it even. But learning that Jason was now a dad made it click in a way Dick didn’t even know it needed to.

It’d also make him sad that Jason hid it from him for so long. Jason didn’t tell the batfam they found out themselves. Dick can’t help but wonder why Jason didn’t tell him. How long was he planning to hide it for? And what kind of older brother was Dick? Clearly the kind whose younger brother didn’t feel close enough to say he now had a kid.

Dick wouldn’t show any of that, of course. All anyone would see how ecstatic he was. Which isn’t entirely an act. Dick is super excited to be an uncle. He’d always been uncle Nightwing but now he is uncle Dick. Now he is actually an uncle by literal definition. He’d immediately be teasing Jason and dramatically lamenting about how little Jay bird is all grown up.

Jason sees right through him but neither of them are ready to have that conversation yet.

I feel this AU can be a lot of fun but it inherently comes with a lot of angst. I want to use it to explore the batfamily and Jason’s relationship with them. This is gonna be most blatant with Bruce.

Bruce’s main role would be a way to understand the choices Jason makes, especially when it comes to raising Tyler. Since there are a lot of parallels there.

Bruce is initial against Jason taking in Tyler all. He views it as Jason doing it out of guilt. He thinks because of all Jason has done that he shouldn’t be a parent. At least not now. Jason uses Bruce as an example of what to avoid. He doesn’t want to be like Bruce, but the whole situation forces him to confront both the good and the bad that he experienced being raised by Bruce. Jason sees Bruce as a failed parent and is hesitant to have Tyler even interact with him. I think it’ll be really interesting to explore the two’s relationship in this context.

Alfred is there to dispense words of wisdom. He’s able to look at the parallels between Bruce and Jason as some what of an outsider. Jason talks to Alfred about the situation and how he really feels about it the most. Jason sees Alfred as his grandfather in a way. He puts a lot of stock into Alfred’s advice and opinions. I see him as being a rock for Jason in this. I’m not sure how to put it without rambling about the same idea over and over. Mainly he’s someone for Jason to confide in who isn’t a vigilante.

Plus Tyler loves Alfred when he final gets to meet him.

Barbara I’m excited for. I’m actually writing a piece of fic for this AU from her point of view. I don’t think Jason and Babs ever really interact in the comics so it’ll be interesting to develop their relationship. In this AU Barbara is just Oracle. She’s still using a wheelchair. For the first 6 months Barbara is the most involved in helping Jason out. Cause, Jason is definitely not working with Bruce and Alfred’s back at the manor and has enough people to worry over. Jason doesn’t want to bother him (he wouldn’t be).

Barbara helps Jason find the best way to settle Tyler into his new life. She helps him find an apartment and get him signed up for school etc. I mean, she’s Barbara Gordon, she can do anything. So she starts as Jason’s resource center while silently laughing as the other batkids try to figure out what the hell Jason is hiding.

Plus Barbara has a little bit of experienced in taking care of traumatized kids. She learned a lot from mentoring Cass and Steph.

I forgot they were on that! I bet that’s how a lot of Vessel era clikkies found out about them.
