That aside, lets do a little game of imagination because I feel the need to make you feel better

Imagine we live in a world where dark fountains and dark worlds are real and creating one doesnt risk the end of the world itself

And you create a dark fountain in the basement where your old TV is

You go on a grand adventure through a world of various knick-knacks, which all culminates in a big final area where you finally encounter that old TV

And they adopt you

the absolute battering ram of fluff that just smacked me in the right in the heart- i wonder if they would still have the stickers on their frame-

but assuming my basement dark world would be as dark and dingy as the basement light world- id probably be running straight to them once i saw them jdjdjdjej my basement freaks me out- mainly because its unfinished and the only time we're ever down there is to hide from tornadoes.

You didn't specify I fandom, so I'm just gonna go with whatever pops to mind first with each question!

3. a character fandom has helped you appreciate

I kept thinking of characters and then shooting them down. 😅 Lots of characters I dislike fandom has helped me to look at from different perspectives I wouldn't say I *appreciated* the character more.

But then I remembered Scott McCall! I always liked Scott in Teen Wolf, but he wasn't anything special to me. I didn't get really attached to any of the characters the first time I watched and I'd only really lurked in the fandom, at best. Then with the movie I was really upset about Scott not being Dr. McCall the Vet...

Once I got more involved in the fandom, I really enjoyed all the character analysis I read (not just of Scott either!) and started rewatching the show as an adult. From there, I realizer how much Scott's character carried the show, particularly some of my favorite parts in regards to both plot and character development. He brought so much to the table and I enjoyed dissecting all his mannerisms and decisions through a new lens.

5. something you see in fics a lot and love

Nicknames! Fics tend to emphasize and explore how nicknames, petnames, and the like are used in more detail than any canon. I very much love the inherent characterization that comes with people having different nicknames from different people/places/etc. It really highlights different facets of a character and how they are viewed.

I read a lot of fics where what a character is called changes throughout the story to reflect how another character's views on them change. Best example is probably all the Robins, but especially Tim Drake.

7. your favorite tropes to read/write/draw

Read: Miscommunication! Awkward Flirting! Special shout out to slow burn and friends to lovers as my go to comfort reads.

Write: No one will be shocked - omegaverse. I just really like the world building... ^^" I also like writing flash burn and confessions (not necessarily romantic ones). Anything with some good meaty emotional turmoil is just *chefs kiss* and I could write it all day (sometimes I do...).

Draw: Clothes, and Hair. This is likely shocking as most of the stuff I've posted is nsfw and/or includes very simple outfits, but I first learned to draw by drawing clothes. I really wanted to be a fashion designer as a kid. My WIPs are filled with a bunch of halfdone drawings in which I just... drew the body with the clothes (usually far too intricate gowns) and stopped when I got to the face or hands. ^^'

Kinda hilarious that what I enjoy most in art from other people is their expressions and when a character properly *grips* something... I've been forcing myself to work on those in particular so I can get better/more confident.

As for the hair, well... I just really like pretty hairstyles? I really enjoy trying to figure out how a hairstyle works and what the fundamental lines are for depicting it accurately. My preference for drawing is lineart, which more complex hairstyles are not always easily shown through, so it also feels kind of like a puzzle or a challenge. Thus why I like it!

17. the thing in canon that everyone loves and that you also love

Timeline 1: the current timeline, and the main timeline

Timeline 2: As shown in the comic, here on my account, "genocide 1-1-5"

Timeline 3: After a lot of genocide runs and pacifist turned genocide runs, Ray decides if he's gonna be the judgez he's passive-aggressive and every reset he completely changes his fight making it impossible for the player to understand, he says "if they can drive me crazy, well I can drive them crazy" he'll do ANYTHING that confuses/angers the player, wether it be changing the bullet hell gameplay to dance dance revolution, to filling the judgment hall with butter and oil, he's always smiling, and he finds their pain entertaining

Timeline 4: All that we have is a crappy magma sketch, but it's romance focused (ray dating Sim 😳? No, lol, @endercreep25 would demolish me)
