awww--thank you so much, bucopie! i have to say, things have gotten so busy and crazy latly, its nice to come back to this. life defintely is a rollar coastar! i think im riding it ok, but its hard to hold on and not let go of the things you care about, you know?

well, i should pry correct ya--lil isnt REALLY human. shes kinda more of an... android, now? but not even really that, because shes still a lot more mechanical than like... data from star trek. but anyways, thats besides the point!

things have definitely changed between us, but thats not really a bad thing. in some ways its been better, in other ways not as much. 

  for starters, we dont see each other as much as we used to. her new appearance made it easier for her to be independent, so she moved out--and that really sucked. but, i guess its no different than if i had a big sister that moved away.

actually, i guess thats the truth--she IS my big sister. her looking more human makes that seem more real to outsiders, but shes always been that way to me.

we still see each other as often as we can, tho. usually she comes to pick me up after work on weekends--shes even started to get to know dusty pretty well.

the horses dont really trust her that much, but dusty likes pretty much everyone, so i guess shes the exception.

lil's also been trying to talk me into learning to snowboard, but... not really my thing.

not really hers either, but she likes to try new things, and she doesnt give up easy!

thats the most recent thing, though--she likes to get me to try all kinds of things, but most of the time its not really my cup of tea. i just sit back and watch. lils a little bit of a daredevil...

... which is why i guess shes the only one brave enough to try and teach me to drive, especially during the middle of winter.

for good reason.

  mostly she keeps busy with her magic, though. ever since she got back from that "parallel universe" thing (yeah, im not so sure i believe that story), shes been trying to make it as a magician, and... well... she apparently doesn't quite have the knack for it as well as she did in sweetopia, i guess.

(probably because it was all in her imagination, but sssh, dont tell her i said that.)

she still works as a car mechanic on the side, but honestly, with all the things she still wants to experience, its not like she really needs a job to keep her busy.

but, i sometimes wish she'd slow down a little. i miss her. without dad, and with korey always holed up in her room... the house feels so empty, without her. i try not to resent her for leaving, but its not easy, sometimes.

at least she still knows where her home is, though--and though she doesnt come back as often as she should, at least she does, and at least she tries.

not everyone is that lucky.

i do apreciate that you care, but i promise. i know what im doing! besides, if i dont look after him, who will? its a little messed up, i know, but i have so many people looking after me, it seems silly not to funnel that towards someone who needs it, ya know? everybody else i know can take care of themselves. him... well.

i just wish he saw it that way. i dont know whats going on in his head, but its not. normal. i guess im lucky i have dylan and the musketeers to keep me sane.

you are such a liar! okay, maybe not, but i... er... yeh i got nothin. youre weird to think that, so heres a weird picture! ^-^

you know, i honestly think all animals are pretty awesome. you cant go wrong with whatever you get, as long as you know what youre getting into! some animals dont make great pets, like hedgehogs and rattlesnakes, but thats why you do lots of research first!

but, in my opinion... well...

sometimes the best pets are the ones you least expected to love. (you will never catch me saying that rats arent the most loving, snuggly animals you can own!)

if you want something smart though, i would definitely say a dog. they are loyal, you can train em, and theyll give you a friendship that is almost--almost--as good as a horses.
