I have a serious question...how do you guys approach individuals who are not accepting of the LGBTQ community? (I hope I said that right and did not insult you or your viewers). I feel that this topic is a real hot spot for people. I also would like to know how to approach individuals.
so even tho I’m an old lady (26) and have had a tumblr since 2010, this blog has never been intended to be for ACTUAL advice regarding navigating LGBTQ+ spaces in our world, since I believe Onward is p idealistic and my boys don’t have these problems. I’m mostly just here to shill Internet safety advice I wish I had when I was a minor, but I’m lucky enough to live in a diverse area, in an accepting workplace, with an accepting family so I am the last person who has a leg to stand on when it comes to bigotry regarding sexuality, as are Ian and Aeric, who are also lucky enough to live in an idealized world where this isn’t an everyday problem. we can just block haters in an online space and it’ll just disappear
that being said, I encourage my followers to instead reach out for someone more trusted than just some random person who draws happy gay elves. this blog is mostly intended for people to get to know them as a couple than to dispense advice, because god knows I would fail in an instant
