life isn't fair, that's why they were mad about the 10k being given to those two kids, (total of 20k) there are lgbt youth that are homeless and ellen chooses to give 10k to two kids who are clearly not in any immediate danger what will they spend 10k on exactly? most likely nothing they need to live, while there are lgbt youth on the streets begging for pennies and ellen is pretty silent about that
Ellen can give any amount of money to whomever she wants. She supports a lot of causes including The Trevor Project and the It Gets Better Project. I canβt find what amount sheβs donated to monetary or time wise. Those two men can spend that money on tuition, which Ellen states she wants to help out with in the video. Its nice she gave them money and its frustrating people are angry and threatening the boys. Its NOT okay at all. Why does someone have to be in danger to get a donation? There are charities and sources for lgbt homeless youth. Ellen isnβt the only person who can or should donate.Β
Life isnβt fair, tumblr needs to get used to it and learn to not throw fits and threaten people.
