I think them not wanting to recast was timing. Itās been less than four months, if they wanted to recast him they would have to start looking now and I think it would just make a lot of people uncomfortable, especially those that worked with him (not just the cast) to have this new person playing the role so soon. Itās frustrating for those that love TāChalla outside of Chadwick, but I think itās difficult for them to honour TāChallaās character without feeling like theyāre dishonouring Chadwick
I honestly donāt see how recasting can be ādishonoringā Chadwick. He would have love to see someone carry on the legacy instead of letting marvel get rid of one of the most important characters of the marvel universe, plus a removal of strong black representation on screen. But itās clear thatās it hard for them. š¤·š½āāļø

I donāt understand this logic tho. Leave Tāchalla alive, but donāt recast him??? What they gonna do? So they gonna āheās on vacation, heās at the UN, or heās with the avengersā us to death for the rest of the franchise ?
Recasting him was not going to take away from Chadwickās legacy. (Sorry if Iām so aggressive rn , Iām very disappointed) .
But if they recasted him whomever replaced Chad would always be compared to him.
Marvel said theyāre not recasting him. Everyone playing a specific marvel character has to be prepared. Tāchalla or not. People need to stop thinking that having a different actor play Tāchalla is equaled to disrespecting Chadwick. Itās very childish.
