elisabeth shue has said some shady things about ralph macchio in interviews :( there was one on youtube where she brought him up and started talking about him, saying she didn't think he could play the role of daniel and that she was better at soccer and karate than him and all these other things. it could have been playful banter for all i know but it just seems weird to me that she'd bring him up and start talking about him when even the interviewer said nothing about him. plus, she was kinda hounding ralph about ali being written out of kk2 as if ralph had a say in that decision. i totally get her frustration but...it wasn't ralph's fault :/
she also goes on NON-STOP about tom cruise. i've heard before that she was upset tom cruise wasn't cast for daniel in karate kid. she still brags on and on about working with him in cocktail even though this was decades ago. she seems to feel all special that she worked with him despite certain coworkers of hers working with him first (đź‘€). she's allowed to be happy about it of course but it seems like she's kissing up to tom cruise when he hardly ever mentions her anymore.
i've heard also that she was a diva to work with before and i won't even go into the stuff with rick james (unless you want me to).
by the way, i know she was in cobra kai and that's given some closure. i just personally don't care for her. that's all!
